And now, presenting...
The master of the Keep... Korath Sourjourn.
Korath was born on the Minotaur Isle of on the world of Krynn. It is unknown at this time where the Keep is located. Korath funded the keep many years ago, and now rules upon the lands earned by one of his stature, and especially from his handicapped background. Korath is a warrior first and foremost, and a dedicated, honorable Knight at all times.
During Korath's travels, he came upon the sage Morivon Kellindroll. A human mage with strong interests in history, and wisdom. The two travelled together as a pair, and defeated evils that plagued the world. Now, Korath has retired from active duty to the Knighthood, and trains squires in all aspects of the Knighthood. Every once in a while a great threat requires the presence of the master of the keep, and thus he is gone for weeks at a time, until such threat has been banished.
Through the use of magic, Morivon gathers knowledge about the history of the world. It is known to many that only Astinus of Palanthas has more knowledge than that of Morivon. Due to his magical spells, Morivon has sustained his life from that of a normal human, to almost the span of a Minotaur. He has forgotten his true age, yet no one can doubt it's more than 200.
Morivon has plans to further extend his life to that of "beyond the grave". He has consulted Korath about such a proposal, and at first Korath was appalled, but over time, Morivon agreed to use the abilities of Lichdom (if there ever came a time) for the good of the Land.
The Mysterious Guest... Mariku
It is not known how Mariku came to become what she is, and even more mysterious how she came to appear at the Keep. Sightings of this fleeting figure show a beautiful woman, one that could lull any man's heart, and her beauty is enhanced by her Etheral qualities.
Mariku searches out and studies adventurers, that's what she did, before her life ended tragically. She searches for signs of how she was killed, so she can be put to rest, but it is one goal she will never attain. Mariku spends her time trailing adventurers throughout the lands they may roam, and comes back to the Keep to tell Morivon all about their journey's.
