Other Battersons
I found the following Batterson on the 1880 Federal Census for Big Flats Township, Chemung Co., New York:
Charles Batterson, age 84, was born in Connecticut, as were both of his parents. He was a widower in 1880, and employed as a
laborer. He was living in the home of William A. Moster, but no relation is given nor does it say if he was a boarder, etc.
William A. Moster was a 25 year old barber from Pennsylvania, and his 22 year old wife, Clara, lived with him, as did
his son, William, jr., age 2.
