Colonel John Budd
Colonel John Budd was the son of Daniel Budd and Mary Purdy; he was born in April of 1752. He
served as a Colonel in the American Revolution; he married a woman named Julianor Dickerson
(b. 22 Nov 1761). Together they had the following children:
- Elizabeth Budd, born 2 Sep 1794. She maried Joshua Coleman of Seneca Lake, New York.
- John Budd, born 11 Oct 1796. He was married to Sarah Drake. They were the parents of :
- Sylvanus D. Budd, who married first Maggie Coleman, and second Maggie Drake.
- Amanda Budd, who married Hiram Hulse.
- Elizabeth Budd, who married George Stephens and had Julia Stephens.(she
married William S. Green, 1855-1949)
- Sarah Budd
- Julia Anna Budd, born 16 Dec 1822, died 15 July 1915. She was married to Jesse Miller on 2 Sep 1846.
- John Drake Budd, who married Martha Salmon
- Mahlon Budd (4 June 1829-29 April 1907), who married Margaret S. Hunt
(26 Oct 1830-26 Dec 1904). Their children were:

- George Drake Budd (1858-1926), who married Laura Jane "Jenny"
