One of the biggest successes for Apple in it's early years was the invention of the LC (A half million sold in one year!). The LC, which stod for Low-Cost Color, packed togethor a bit of performance, color capability, and a $2,400 price tag. The LC was basicly a very scaled back II series computer with only one upgrade slot instead of seven. THe LC series popularized th e"Pizza Box" design for Apple Computers.
