HerbMark New Zealand is a grower owned company directly involved in the distribution and marketing of certified organic medicinal herbs. Although it is primarily involved in certified organic herbs, it does have product from growers who are still moving though the various stages of their certification programme. Growers for whom HerbMark represents produce their crops from all parts of New Zealand. Due to the wide range of micro climates thoughout our country, we are able to produce most species from around the world, whilst maintaining an environment which is most suited to the production of the specific species. This naturally enhances the natural quality of the herb.HerbMark New Zealands aim is to produce medicinal herbs to a very high world standard. whilst maintaining conginuity of supply and a wide range of species, available in commercial volumes. Producers are guided through their production processes from research and information sourced from leading National and International researchers, on new and inportant medicinal herb species for development, as well as feed back from current markets with whom we have been working over the past three years. Although species range is not yet large, growth has been progressive. In the long term, we hope to be able to produce more species on a contractural basis, so as to always be in a positon to fulfill market demand, and also to guide the grower into establishing species for which they have a strong market to supply.
