Current Guild Contests
Bard Guild Design an Instrument Contest rules and information:
The winners for the Design-An-Instrument contest are:
Drippy, for his drubbed lyre.
Raaziaar, for his dyed crystal flute.
Espritia, for her drum.
Lareine, for her liquor-bottle flutes.
Keia, for her steel-string mandolin.
Due to the very low volume of entries from DragonRealms Platinum, no winner was chosen from there. All winners were, at the time of entry, Bards from DragonRealms Prime.
Winners, you will be contacted about how to receive your prizes (which are a copy of your winning instrument and an alteration of a case for it), so please don't Assist or ask for a Referral regarding them. Congratulations to you all, and thank you everyone who entered!!!
Bard Guild Name the Guildhouses Contest rules and information:

Espritia (Dwelling of the Faldesu Musicians)
Nystarn (The Dragon's Shadow, The Hidden Melody)
Wyrrd (Island Conservatory)
There is no guarantee that any of these will be actually used for post titles! They do, however, greatly represent what we were looking for in them, and you all were a wonderful inspiration. Thank you, everyone who entered!
The winners are reminded that regardless of which guildhouse names they won for, each are entitled to only one of the select items when a member of the Bard Team contacts them about their prize. Again, congratulations to you all!
Past Guild Contests
Bard Guild Tapestry Contest rules and information:
Due date for contest entries was midnight August 31st 2000, pacific time! Thanks to everyone who participated!
The judges have decided! It was a difficult decision to choose just five entries for the tapestry contest as all the entries were quite well done. Thanks to all who participated!
As specified in the contest rules, due to the nature of the room these tapestries will exist in, they cannot be publicly accredited *ingame* to the designer (meaning, we can't put your name on the tapestry itself). The winning tapestries may need to be changed slightly, for editing purposes. All submitted entries become the intellectual property of Simutronics Corp.
Winners will be contacted by GM Melodia so that the winner's prize may be collected. Please do NOT assist or report ingame about this -- you will be contacted, we promise!
And the winners are (in no particular order):
Lareine Decaeli
Cirissa Tereha
Dreamheart Delaevan
Aeslyba Garske
Dewsong DeRosa
Congratulations to all!
Bard Guild Songbook Contest rules and information:
Due date for contest entries was midnight September 1st, pacific time! Thanks to everyone who participated!
The time has come to announce the winners of the Songbook Contest! Thanks to all of you who submitted entries, they were a true pleasure to read. And a riot in some cases. The following people were ranked to have submitted the best songbooks by our panel judges:
Kithria Dustdanser
Pagius Burwick
Sephirin Altruden
Dewsong de Rosa
Iala Taisal
Winners, you will be contacted in-game about how to collect your prizes. As Melodia said for the tapestry contest, please do NOT assist or report in-game about receiving your prize, I'll make sure you're contacted _somehow_. Congratulations, folks!
As stated in the rules, all of the entries became intellectual property of Simutronics Corp. when they were submitted. The songbooks may need to be changed slightly when it comes to actually making them.
