What follows is a more detailed discussion about the nature of a Cell-group church,
at least as Welcome Home will be implementing it ... and why it looks that way.

Unique elements of the Cell-Group ethos

God already knows everything about us, good, bad and ugly.
God has the sole right to judge our absolute value.
Key purposes of a Cell-Group are
- shared burdens
- A Cell-Group cannot be effective if people are not emotionally,
  intellectually, and spiritually freed-up to be transparent to old Cell-Group
  friends and newcomers alike, and so the Cell-Group facilitates ...
  - spiritual Freedom
  - Once free from the stifling burdens of past and present conflict, confusion,
    abuse, neglect, disinformation, etc., a Cell-Group member can really flourish!
  - It does matter who knows your "stuff" ...
    - Jesus "will never leave you or forsake you"; He died earning our passports to freedom!
  So, What Does a Cell-Group Look Like in Practice?
  (written September 7, 1999)
  - Members of each cell meet together in small groups every week.
  - The Cell generally consists of seven to twelve people, though it may
    temporarily grow larger before dividing.
  - Each Cell is led by a Facilitator who is mentoring an Intern.
  - When the Cell divides due to growth the Intern becomes the Facilitator for
    the new Cell and each Facilitator mentors a new Intern.
  - What Happens at a Cell-Group Meeting?
