Fairly basic information about Paxil. In cases where the hypoglycemia is a result of a chemical imbalence, Paxil can be useful for correcting the imbalence. Getting rid of the imbalence gets rid of the symptoms (the hypoglycemia).

Candida site

This page has a lot of good information, but the author is not a doctor. I think they've just been through the mill so much trying to deal with their symptoms that they probably know more than most doctors at this point.

Diabetes prevention

A summary of some recent journal articles and conference proceedings on diabetes prevention. We all knew we need to maintain normal weight, exercise and follow a proper diet. Fish (salmon and seal) and flax are good for you too because of its omega-3 fatty acids and SDG (site, other site). Perhaps we need to pop the indicated vitamins? One article even suggests alcohol.

Diabetes and chromium

This article claims that 1000 mcg of chromium per day actually reversed NIDDM (noninsulin dependent diabetes) in a study in China. There was no effect if only 200 mcg was taken (which is closer to the dosage that those 
who take it take).

National Adrenal Diseases Foundation

Maintains a state-by-state list of doctors who specialize in adrenal diseases. The foundation also produces a quarterly newsletter, NADF News that keeps patients and families informed about developments relating to adrenal disorders. Hotwired's Health Section

They work with a doctor called Dr.Weill; he's a herbalist etc. and knows about hypo. They also have a forum on alternative medicine. You might have to register with Hotwired to gain access, it's free.
