Q: How did you start playing the drums?Did you learn it by yourself or did someone teach you or did you attend classes?

A. A friend of mine had a band and needed a drummer,so I learned to play---I taught myself.

Q: Can you play any other musical instruments other than the drums?

A. No

Q: Is that you playing the percussions in the intro of "Indian Strings"?

A: No. its actually a drum loop of Tablas that Neil arranged.

Q: What did you think of your Singapore gig 1999?

A: Fantastic---better that '97

Q: What's the most nicest /memorable gift from a fan?

A: They are all memorable!

Q: What was that bunch of Orchid flowers on your bass drum during the Singapore gig for? Who put it there for you?

A: Sony Singapore.

Q: What is your worst habit?

A: Smoking!

Q:You mentioned before in SELECT magazine that you were "fucking brilliant on a jet-ski". So where do you go to jet-ski and what do you wear?

A: In the Canary Islands where we played a show we all went Jet skiing and I wore Doc Martins.

Q: Simon, do you prefer boxers, briefs, g-strings or nothing?

A: Boxers.

Q: Simon, can you sing?

A: No.

Q: Why do you always have to wear DMs on your feet? I am really curious about how your feet look like! (from annonymous fan who E-mailed the S.S. management)

A: My feet look like pink Doc Martins. (*DMs = Doctor Marten boots)

Q: Do you ever wear shorts?

A: No.

A: Low level ---Stratford-on-Avon -High School.
