The Forum is an interactive community for kids and adults who support our cause. The Forum is moderated, and monitored frequently. There are two main features to the Forum, a chat room (your choice of Java or HTML) and a message board.
The Chat Room
Chats are postponed temporarily
A few rules for smooth running of a chat room are necessary.
- NO comments favouring child pornography
- NO picture trading
- NO explicit sexual content or harassment of any kind
- NO fighting. If you must, take it somewhere private
- NO soliciting unsafe Internet practices like trading telephone numbers
- NO advertising products for sale
- Respect each other, regardless of how you feel about a person
Forum Managers (listed below) can and will kick or ban from the chat room if necessary. This is a last resort, and will never be done for personal reasons.
Log your chats. You can delete them later, but if something goes wrong, a transcript of the conversation can help settle disputes. When you join the chat, type /log [email] [name]. Replace [email] with your complete email addy and replace [name] with a name you want the chat file called (eg. /log ryanizer@mailandnews.com 0113. When I leave the chat, Delphi will email me the transcript, with a subject line 0113, the date I am writing this).
If no manager is present, please Email KACP or one of the managers (listed below) if you are harassed, or if you see these rules being broken in chat. Please attach or forward the chat log.
The Message Board
This is where most of the activity is. Here you can find resources, poetry, articles, and news about KACP. The writings you see don't necessarily reflect the opinions and policies of KACP, so you may see things you disagree with. The rules here are the same as in the chat room rules listed above, with two additional rules. Forum Managers (listed below) will delete (in whole or in part) without warning:
- Personal attacks
- Offensive graphics, either in the message body or signature
