Hard Hat Linux is a very scalable, multi-platform embedded Linux distribution. It's scalable down to .5MB, does not require a console or a disk, and features support for high-integration CPUs and peripherals. Hard Hat Linux sports a full set of network protocols, including TCP/IP (and things that make use of them), AppleTalk, IPX, and telephony protocols. It also features a wide array of APIs, including standard Unix APIs (POSIX, SystemVR4, and BSD), as well as windowing APIs (X and MicroWindows), along with the standard Linux kernel interfaces.
