- For those who do not Know what this phrase says, it says we are all related it is from the Lakota people and the reason I got all flashy with the first word is because I wanted to hit home on the All part, Mitakuye, (translation) my relations. As I said, I am not Lakota, Im from The Cherokee TsaLaGi people Western Band to be exact, although we were all Eastern Band at one time. It is just that the Lakota Way sings to my heart they have given to the world a profound gift. I believe the gift is this Phrase, it is all so simple we as a people no matter what race color creed or nation are all related. We are not only related to one another as humans but also to every thing on this Earth our Mother. I know there are many who will argue this point and in the next breath say they believe God has created all things. Kind of funny, they say we believe we sprang forth from a couple of people way back in time, by the name of Adam and Eve and still have a hard time looking at there fellow human Brother or Sister as being there Relative is it not ? And then when you say well I think IM related to that rock or to the water also, folks start thinking you are really nuts, and think you worship the trees and rocks. Again let me go biblical on you, does it not say in that big old book that God formed us from the Earth in fact if you take a good look at us from a scientific stand point you will find that every mineral and metal and, and fluid composition in your body is found in the Earth, Our Mother and I feel if you deny her as your Mother then you deny yourself.
- I guess the point IM trying to make with all this is we are living in some very prophetic times here folks I hear people talking about Earth Changes and preparing for the changes that are coming, and IM here to say those times are not coming. They are Here, we need to stop looking down the road and look at where we are at right now. We can argue about which one of us has the answer to the Cosmic Light or which one of our tribes is right or only those of us who are full blood this or that have the right to talk about sacred things, but the fact is we need to wake up. We really should take a look at this concept of being related and stop all the other meaningless stuff. I spoke with a friend a while back and we were trying to find something we could all agree upon, I heard a man say one time if we could get all the Native people to agree on one thing we could move the Earth, and we came up with the idea that there is one thing we can all agree on no matter if your Native or not is our Children. Even the worst person wants good things for there Children. So I say lets all take the time to honor one another as relatives and agree that we want the best for our future generations, We can do little to change what is happening with the Earth, She must go through her changes and renew herself, she has done it many times before. But we can insure that our future and unborn generations can carry with them into the next world or cycle the concept of being related to one another. They do not have to take with them all the racial hatred and bigotry that we have lived with. Why would we want to send our children into a beautiful place with all that Poison in them? So lets get our act together, let us try to stand as a nation of human beings without borders or walls and say to all those that wish to continue the madness No, we Are All Related and I refuse to buy into the hate, bigotry and prejudice any longer.
