Dreams of Otaku

At one time, I took a Computer Science course, which included an account on a Sun workstation. The userid's were assigned by choosing the first 8 letters of the last name, in my case digiacom. It was remarked by a classmate at that time that if I merely dropped the a, I'd have a perfect name for a company, and DigiCom was born. [It turns out that I'm not alone with this idea, as the name is not only used in a Michael Crichton novel, but also by a modem manufacturer.]

Anyway, a short time later, I met Jon "The Corinthian" Govoni, who shared my interest in the semi-famous Undocumented Features saga. And inspired by these stories, we created the infamous mass of fiction known throughout the net as:

Otaku Rising

Unfortunately, Cor wrote us into a corner [with my help]. Although plans for OR 3 were begun, my graduation prevented us from using our usual work method.

Using the opening of OR 2 as a starting point, I began the alternate continuity of stories entitled:

A lack of enthusiasm, teamed with a touch more maturity, has doomed the creation of OF 3. It is highly unlikely it will ever be completed.
