Firewall-routers both let you automatically share one cable internet connection over an entire lan and offer you protection from outside internet access. This code is beta version 1, is known to work with mediaOne express cable service. Let me know if you have used a different cable service or an adsl connection.
Once your system is setup, it operates independently.
You get status or update the configuration by using any browser
running on any machine that is part of your lan.
