1- Since the web server is always on, is there a security hole? - the administrative server is only accesible from a machine inside the firewall.
It can only be reached via the internal ip address 192.168.0.1 So there is no security problem.

2- How do I run a tool for debugging the network like traceroute - These work from an internal machine through the firewall
