Back Pressure Regulator Control Valves -
Valves for control of system pressure

Control Valves are used to automatically control and regulate pressure and/or the flow rate of product in a piping system.   They are available for any pressure need.   Common practice is that almost all control valves are ordered as 300lb rating.   Normally the size of the control valve is smaller then the line size.   This is to avoid throttling the valve and which will cause the seat to wear too quickly.   Control valves are normally globe patterned valves and come with flanged ends to facilitate maintenance.   The disc is moved by a pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical or a mechanical operator.

A Back Pressure Regulator is a control valve that is used to keep a constant upstream pressure in a piping system.
