Lady Rennar welcomes her home, and informs her that her job is still available should she still want it.

Arboretum: Inner City, Caemlyn

Though not exactly busy, the Arboretum's well kept grounds manages to keep it a popular spot in Caemlyn: a quiet escape from the chaos of the streets always ready to welcome any and all that should seek her out.

Not far off, people mill about the paths, wandering carelessly amid the garden's trails. All around, vibrant blue, violet, red and yellow flowers fill the garden's many beds -- grass, bushes and trees all thriving in the summer's heat. Nearby, small birds and animals scurry here and there, carelessly about their daily chores. The garden's centerpiece fountain and pond rest calmly in the distance. Small stone-lined paths creep off the park's main path, offering visitors a chance to slip away and find their own 'private' spot to sit and enjoy the greenery all around. At the western most end of the park, a high wrought-iron fence is surrounds three large trees, their crowns rivaling the nearby towers of the Inner City. Nestled amidst the ancient giants is a small gatehouse, nearly obscured with creeping ivy.

Laressa emerges from the side entrance that leads to Ferret Run.

You sit down on the Edge of the Fountain.

Today is Twosday, 15 Tammaz, 999 NE. It is a Summer afternoon.

Sitting on the edge of the fountain, reading a book, on this warm, summer afternoon is Lady Rennar Hune. She doesn't seem to be paying much attention to her general surroundings, more engrossed in her book than anything else.

Laressa walks into the Arboretum, for her afternoon stroll, she hums softly and seems alive with life. She glances round the Arboretum smiling to people as they pass. Laressa slowly makes her way toward the pond, she is in little hurry as she walks.

Once in a while, Rennar glances up from her book to take notice of who might come near her way. Not seeing any individuals she recognizes or otherwise knows, she looks back down, flipping a page.

Coming near the fountain on her meanderings Laressa smiles to the woman there reading the book. Many of her memories have returned, yets bits and pieces of them remain missing. She pauses to admire the fountain, like renewing an old friendship.

Noticing someone stop nearby, Rennar looks up once more. At first she starts to glance down at her book again, not thinking she recognizes the person, but her head stops and she does a double take. Her emerald eyes widen just slightly taking in the form of the young woman. "Sasha...?" she asks hesitantly.

Laressa looks back at the woman surprised as she hears her name "Yes M'lady, do I know you." her dark eyes looking you over carefully. She still remains in darkness with so many things but hearing her name again does feel good. She brushes her hair back with her left hand, the ring she wears glistens in the light of the day.

There is a moment of hesitation as Rennar looks back at Laressa, "I would think so, unless you are someone else...." Uncertainty touches her eyes, "There is a woman who works for me who's name is Sasha, yet she and her fiance have not yet returned from Fal Moran."

Hearing that, Laressa stares at the woman, the words triggering pictures in her mind. Shaking her head "Lady Rennar?" she says hesitantly and drops into a curtsey "I am sorry I did not recognize you I was injured in Fal Moran nearly a year ago. My memory is slow in returning."

The Lady's eyes widen a bit in reponse to Laressa's words. "Light. I'm sorry to hear that Sasha." She reaches out a comforting hand and pats her arm consolingly. "Yes... I'm Rennar," she adds in a quieted voice. "It is good to see that you are well." Her hand returns to her book, resting there gently.

Laressa smiles and rises as you speak to her, she sits on the fountains and speaks softly "I am well. When I first returned here I had only the ring, and remembered the name Hune and a few other little things. I was directed to Andor and tole there was a greate house here." she pauses trying to gather her thoughts "I still am missing pieces, like what my betrothed looks like or where he is. Shallenne recognized me at the Inn and told me my name and took me to Tiras Lorn well I only remembered it being burnt. Then others came forward who knew me and much has come back." she blushes slightly "I have been afraid to enter the house so have been living at the Inn for now untill I built my courage back up."

Tilting her head to the side, Rennar blinks faintly at the mentioning of Laressa's fears. "Afraid, but why...?" Curiosity touches her eyes as she asks her question. "Though, I suppose I can understand with all that you have endured." She scoots herself over a little bit to make room for Laressa. "You still hold your job, if you want it. You and Xavier took an indefinite leave of absense. I admit, I have heard little from him since the time that he has gone, but I figured that was because he was making out better in Shienar with his music and his songs that he might not want to come back."

Tears begin to fill Laressa's eyes as you speak of Xavior "I have not seen him in a year Lady Rennar, I only just recently remembered his name, and I still do not fully remember what he looks like." her voice trembles as she speaks "Although I was told I was Sasha and that I worked for you everytime I went near the manor I only saw it burned in my mind and it was freightening. As time as gone by I am remember much more and sometimes rather quickly." well a kife at ones throat after being kidnapped on first returning does have a way of making one remember. She smiles to you "I remember you were always very kind and that you at one time were hiding in the bushes over there," she points "you were scared and then it is blank again."

Slowly, Rennar nods her head, "That was the first time we met. It was after the Queen had sieged the gates of Tiras Lorn. I was being held captive by my Uncle, and at the time we met, no one believed who I was. The fires you remember from my home were probably the ones the assasins sent after me started."

Laressa listens attentively and sighs "I don't remember any of that." she pauses "I do remember a fancy lady on a horse here I think" she is getting confused. Her dark eyes look to you "May I aske you something?"

"That could have been the Queen, or Mistress Jaeara. Both have been here before." Rennar comments quietly on the first bit of information. A brow lifts and she turns her attention to Laressa, "Not at all. Feel free to ask anything. I will try to answer it, if I can."

Laressa blushes "Well a few weeks ago I believe I was in town and there were these strange men, I later discovered call Aiel. One is my friend. There were also these giants, my friend Mohakin said they were Treebrothers but to me they were strang and interesting." she is trying to get the question out "What are those gia... I mean Treebrother and will they hurt anyone?" she has been curious but again afraid to ask.

Rennar shifts a touch uncomfortably whenever the 'savages' are brought up. "The 'giants' as you call them are Ogier." She offers a warm and reassuring smile to Laressa as she answers her question, "One of them, Jureim I believe his name is, will be rebuilding the gates of Tiras Lorn. I wasn't particularly happy with the workmanship and he seemed more than delighted to do the work." She doesn't say what she had to do to get him to agree though.

A smile touches her face as you explain "Ogier, that is an interesting name, they are builders? They are so big." Laressa did not really notice your discomfort and goes on "Mohakin is a nice Aiel, he saved Emos that day. The boy went into the street, and being so small, I didn't think the Gian...I mean Ogier would see him and Mohakin was so brave to make sure the child was safe. Later he gave the boy to a man called Sev of the Hune to care for." she sighs "I still don't understand why the people in this town hurt Mohikin and his friends and called him bad names."

Darius walks through the large iron gates, entering from the Inner City.

Darius meanders into the Arboretum, smiling slightly to himself. His face is drawn, highlighting his cheekbones in a too-thin face, and his counterance is that of someone just recovering from a bout of illness.

Slowly, Rennar nods her head again to Laressa, setting her book carefully on the edge of the fountain where she sits. "Well, that is the name they go by. They built part of the Inner City originally, if I remember my Andoran history right. Jureim was rather upset that some of the buildings here have been destroyed because of progress." She shakes her head a bit, then widens her eyes slightly, "You talk to the savages?" In her conversation with Laressa, she has yet to notice another newcomer.

Laressa nods and listens to the story "I guess I have a lot still left to remember, I did not know all that." she smiles as the mention of the savages "Why yes, Mohakin is very kind and he saw I was sad here at the pond. Well after our meeing on the street where I started to recognize Emos's face, he know I was troubled and was very very kind." she looks to Rennar "Why do people call them savages?"

Darius meanders into the Arboretum, smiling slightly to himself. His face is drawn, highlighting his cheekbones in a too-thin face, and his counterance is that of someone just recovering from a bout of illness.

Again, Rennar shifts a bit uncomfortable in her place along the fountain's edge. "They killed a great many people during the Aiel war, all over a silly tree." She sniffs slightly, "There are many other stories that go along with it as well." She allows her gaze to drift around the gardens once more. A warm breeze passes by, gentle blowing the leaves of the plants and bushes as it moves through. When Rennar's gaze takes her to the gates, that's when she spies the newcomer. Politely, she nods her head in a regal fashion.

Darius pauses, overhearing Sasha- Laressa, and starting to walk over in that direction. At Laressa's question, his gaze darts up to Rennar for a second, before starting to walk over to the pair, smiling a bit wider at actually *spotting* Laressa now.

Laressa looks to Rennar innocently, her dark eyes alive "Lady Rennar, just because that happend do I have to stop being friends with Mohakin?" she turns as you look to the gate and smiles "Darius how are you?" she is still a bit flighty from her ordeal.

VIEWING: When you see Darius, you'd likely see a trefoil leaf, as well as an Aiel buckler, floating around him.

"No, you do no-" Rennar starts to speak, turning her attention to Laressa. She suddenly stops speaking and does another of those double takes she did earlier when Laressa made her presense known. Her eyes go to Darius, more distinctly this time, and seem to look as though she's looking around him; almost. A blush suddenly comes to her cheeks and she looks away from the other man. That action might seem curious coming from one of the noble born. "You do not..." she completes her sentence, answering Laressa. "You are your own person, Sasha. Another thing you may remember, in time, about me is that I do not restrict actions of those who work for me. If you wish to associate with the sava-." She pauses her words, rethinking and reforming them, "This Mohakin, then that is your choice."

Laressa looks curiously as Rennar looks and blushes, she tilts her head and considers, but being the Lady is her boss and she, a servant, she decides against asking her what that was all about. Maybe if she is fortunate she will find out soon enough "Thank you Lady Rennar. Do I remain at the Inn and come into work?" well she got a lot of the memories back but so much of the details still just won't surface.

Darius stands a short ways behind Sasha, sketching a quick bow towards the Lady Rennar. "Good afternoon, Lady, Mistress Laressa." he offers hesitantly. "How does it find you?"

Giving a small shake of her head, Rennar answers Laressa, "You've a room at Tiras Lorn if you still want it Sasha. I just need to inform Mistress Genette so she can make certain someone uncovers all the furnishings and clears away the dust and cobwebs." She smiles faintly at the young woman, then her eyes go to Darius as he makes his presense more known. It might be noticed Rennar's gotten somewhat edgy as he nears. "Good afternoon." She returns the greeting, dipping her head in a slight nod once more.

Laressa shudders at the name "Mistress Genette, that old.."she stops herself, something about that name sends shivers up her spine. "I would like that Lady Rennar, I think I would feel much safer than at the Inn." she turns and smiles to Darius "I am well, thank you and even more now that I have remet Lady Rennar and am going back to work" she looks happy at this.

A warm expression touches Rennar's eyes as she glances to Laressa, "You say that now Sasha, but I figure you haven't remembered Emos yet. He can be quite the handful, running off into trouble as much as he does." With that last statement she grows quiet, her eyes curiously turning back to Darius. She has not been introduced, afterall.

Darius gives Rennar an old look at her edging away from him, before shrugging it off. "If I am interupting, Lady, I can leave you to finish your conversation." he replies mildly, gesturing towards the rest of the park.

Laressa groans at the mention of that little monsters name "I unfortunatly do remember Emos and with Master Cronus's help have be doing a bit of playing myself." she confesses "I have been around him and he does not recognize me and I continue to use the name Laressa. Cronus said it was funny." she chuckles "Emos was one of the first faces I recognized when I returned and that is how Mohakin and I met."

Rennar chuckles lightly, "Indeed, he is a little monster." She turns her eyes back to Darius, shaking her head at him, "Nay, please stay. It seems you and Mistress Sasha know one another." She gives the stranger semblance of a smile.

Laressa flushes "tis a shame he was the first I remembered here, nearly ran back to Fal Moran." she looks "Lady Rennar this is Darius, a scholar from Tar Valon. I met him before my accident and well we remet the other day. He was going to help me at onetime set up a center for the homeless, then he went back to TarValon and I came to work for you." turns to Darius "Darius this is lady Rennar head of Tiras Loran and my boss."

Darius nods a bit, his smiling also growing a small amount. "We do, actually. From a visit I made to the fair city some time ago. And I'm- Err, yes." He trails off a moment as Laressa introduces him, recovering a noticible pause later. "A pleasure to meet you, Lady Rennar," he amends formally, bowing again.

Rennar slowly inclines her head, "Head of House Hune..." She smiles gently at Laressa, forgiving the woman her memory. "Tiras Lorn is the name of my ancestral home, here in the city." She glances to Darius and graces him with a light, warm smile, "A pleasure to meet you Master Darius."

Laressa blushes "I am sorry I will get it all back oneday I hope." she smiles shyly "Darius, what brought you back here this time?" she smiles to her friend.

Darius blinks again, suprise clearly appearing upon his face at hearing Rennar's full title. "Erm... Of course, the same... Back here? Oh, yes- just a need for some fresh air after spending too many days indoors." He gives Laressa a wan smile. "I've been a touch sick a few days."

Rennar stands from her seat and starts to stretch a bit. She gets her book from the edge of the of the fountain and nods her head to both parties, "If you will excuse me. I should return home before my husband starts to send the guard looking for me."

Darius nods again towards Rennar, consideringly. "Light favor you, Lady Rennar." he sends, quietly.

Laressa stands quickly as Rennar does and curtseys "Thank you for being so kind to me again." she suddenly realizes what you said "Your married? To that man that was mean to you?" she looks in wonder. "I shall come to the house tomorrow if that is alright with you Lady Rennar."

Rennar blinks at Laressa, "Hardly... you must be remembering my former uncle, Jeffrin." Her eyes darken a moment when she mentions that man's name. "My husband is Demonder of House Roesone." She smiles warmly, her eyes even lighting up when she mentions that name. "And coming tomorrow is fine." She glances to Darius, "It was a pleasure meeting you again, Master Darius." She nods her head to them both then starts to make her way out of the gardens.

Laressa again blushes "That must be, well congratulations." she watches the great Lady leave then turns back to Darius "so tell me what brings you back to Andor." she smiles "and I am sorry you have been sick."

Darius glances around for a moment, after Rennar leaves, before shrugging. "Would you mind if I were to sit first?" he asks, a sudden tiredness in his voice. "As to your question... namely a call from the Ambassador Rezna."
