Summary:Chance brings Lady Rennar upon Lord Sev and Lady Alwyne, both of House Hune, within the nobles' sitting room of the Palace. Quietly, the three discuss some of the surrounding issues regarding Murandy and King Renford; something that's become an ill topic around Rennar.

Nobles' Sitting Room: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn

You find yourself in a antechamber with a high, vaulted ceiling inset with colorful stained glass. Lush carpets of red and white lie upon the marble stone floor. Couchs and chairs are arranged in conversational groupings within the room.

The strong afternoon sun floods in through the glass wall, reflecting a brilliant spectrum about the room. Down below, in the Queen's Gardens, you can see falling leaves of brown, red and gold. To the east is a wing set with doors that house the nobles who reside in the palace. To the northeast are a pair of double doors that lead to the balcony and gardens. A hallway with guests' rooms branches to the west, and the heavily guarded Queen's chambers are south. A great staircase of white stone curves down to the Entry Hall below.

Sev, Alwyne

Alwyne is standing near one of the windows, looking outside, apparently speaking intermittently to Sev.

Sev glances up and offers Rennar a bow, his expression is that slightly distressed look he's always gotten when there's something serious but awkward afoot.

The entrance of Lady Rennar is preceeded by a rather well-toned individual, of obvious male characteristics. Of blonde hair and blue eyes, the man always holds his hand near his sword in case there is a need. Following him is Lady Rennar, hidden slightly by his larger form. "Really, Fischer, you don't have to scan out the nobles sitting room." There's a vague teasing note to her voice, "I know you came highly recommended by Cende, but.... you are out doing yourself. Please, relax."

"I was instructed to look after your safety, Lady Rennar, and that is a job that I do not take lightly." The blonde states rather dutifully. "Besides, Cende would have our heads if she found Hawk and I were not doing our jobs." There's a look of mischief in his eyes as he states those words.

Alwyne glances over at the sound of voices and inclines her head in greeting as she sees Rennar.

Sev looks the bodyguard over, professionally, it seems,

A light smile forms on Rennar's featurs at the man's words. "I miss her." She states simply, sighing lightly. "It was a comfort to have another I could actually talk to." She smirks gently, "There are so few I can trust these days." It is then that she looks about the rooom and actually takes notice of who is present, having been preoccupied with her conversation to her 'guardsman'. Eyes widen a touch as she spies out both Alwyne and Sev. A considering look comes to her features, then she nods her head to each of them respectively, "Cousins." She greets in a quiet manner, while the blonde man takes up a position behind her and to the right.

Sev steps a bit closer, left hand resting easily on his blade, walking with just a bit of tension to see if the bodyguards notice... When they react properly, he smiles and relaxes, "Well, you'd better, this is my cousin."

Sev looks to Rennar, "Has there been more trouble that you've finally taken an escort, Rennar?"

Alwyne murmurs, "Cousin," then glances at Sev as he speaks.

There is an audible sniff that emits itself from Rennar, "With this so-called King of Murandy on the loose, there is always trouble. He has already attempted to kill me once, a year or so prior. I will not be taking chances with my life with him not safely behind bars." There is a slight note of steel to her voice as she answers, not directed at either Sev or Alwyne, just the situation at hand.

Sev nods.

Alwyne raises one eyebrow slightly. "Did he admit to it, then?" The question is set forth quietly, almost curiously.

"Why would he admit to doing anything that would incriminate him?" Rennar answers a question with a question, snorting softly, "Of course he didn't, but he's as guilty as sin." She folds her arms before her, emerald eyes taking in her pair of cousins. "I was there the night the Queen stormed my House and attempted to rescue me. I was there the night the Murandian lord, bearing the House Fiores symbol, ordered Jeffrin to kill me."

Sev looks to Alwyne. He's been accusing Fiores of trying to kill Rennar all along.

Alwyne's expression is completely neutral, an unreadable mask. "Of course," she murmurs.

Ashe climbs up the spiraling staircase, from the lower levels of the Palace.

Stopping as he tops the stairs, the young guard looks around the room to see who is about. Ashe's face has a look of stone, for he has just heard about the murder, and he expects to find, or aid in finding who dunnit, and see justice done.

Rennar regards the Gaidin and Aes Sedai a moment or two, "I am surprised you have not returned with the rest of the Tower contingent." She turns her head just slightly to regard the newcomer. Standing near her is a rather athletic looking blonde man who bears a sword; looking rather protective of her.

Vasimer walks into the sitting room from the balcony.

Vasimer walks silently in from the balcony, pausing on the inside to take note of who is within the room.

Alwyne glances over at the sound of footsteps, noting the guard.

Taking the silence for a desire to no longer talk, Rennar turns her attention back to the guard who is with her, "We will need to tell Demonder that there are a few more recruits that would like to join the Hune Guard, Fishcer." She gives a name to the blonde man standing at her side. "He'll be pleased that one or two others want to study the axe."
