Summary:An annoyed Rennar is found chasing someone down the streets of Andor. Demonder and Renica catch sight of the annoyed Lady and join in on the chase.

Crown of Roses Avenue: Inner City, Caemlyn
This portion of the Inner City is filled with large structures of gleaming
white stone, roofed in tiles of purple, red and azure. White walls divide small
expanses of lush lawn, and golden domes and tall spires rise to the heavens.
The sounds of crickets chirping and laughter from a nearby inn interrupt the
quiet of twilight. The walkways and streets of the Inner City are kept clear of
snow, but a coat of white blankets grassy areas and icicles hang from the eaves
of buildings. White Lion Way, a narrow street paved in white stone, leads off
to the southwest, and Crown of Roses Avenue, also paved in white stone, leads
to the west.

Renica has arrived.

Demonder pulls open the carved oaken doors leading from Roesone Manor and enters the avenue.

Rennar appears to be strolling down the street in a quiet manner.

Demonder and Renica make their way out from the House Roesone manor, walking
unto the street. They begin making their way through the crowd of people, and
eventually Demonder's eyes home in on Rennar.

Rennar does not appear to notice the couple exiting Roesone manor, intent on
whatever it is she appears to be going. A small frown touches her features and
she sighs. She turns toward the south, heading toward the palace grounds, her
steps urgent for one reason or another.

Renica rolls her eyes expressively, knowing how the sight of Rennar tends to
drive all reasonable thought out of her brother's head. She seems decked out
for holiday in bright whites and deep reds.

Demonder looks over at Renica and winks, not following too quickly behind
Rennar, but quick enough in pace. Pulling his cloak over him against the winter
wind, he increases their pace until soon they manage to beside steps with Renni
as she goes south.

Renica sighs, giving him that look that only twins can understand, but goes
along with it.

Once the others get closer to Rennar, it is not hard to see that she is doing
her best to follow someone through the crowd of the busy streets on this
festive day. Her demeanor suggests that she's a little more than annoyed with
something that has transgressed, and oddly enough there is a red stain on a
portion of her dress, or is that brownish?

An annoyed Rennar, and a reserved Renica? What more trouble can poor Demonder
get himself into. Moving to the side of Rennar, Demonder and Renica stumble
throughthe festive crowd. "Lady Rennar, something the matter?" he asks.

And the closer one gets the Rennar, the better they can make out the stain.
Blood. It seems to conver her hands as well, to some extent. Her face seems to
glower with a bit of anger - try as she might to dull the expression on her
features. Several passers by seem to scurry out of Rennar's way as she walks, a
bit concerned at the appearance of her dress, "I am fine." She replies in a
curt manner, though by the way she glances at Demonder her look suggests that
she seems to regret her tone, having forgotten herself momentarily, "I am
sorry. I am having... difficulties with something."

Renica's big eyes are curious as she shivers in the wind. "Lady Rennar-" the
young lady echoes in shock as she sees the blood. "Are you all right?"

Demonder leans forward further to see the blood on her, a touch of anger being
sparked in his own eyes as he looks forward and about. "Difficulties? Your not
bleeding, are you?" he asks suddenly with more of a concerned expression.

Rennar gives a small shake of her head as she continues to stride along,
attempting to keep sight of the figure fleeing away from her, leaving her
unspoken answer open to interpretation. As the figure starts to break into a
run, so does Rennar with a grim determination not to lose him or her. Yelling
stop rarely works, afterall. "Pardon me..." She mumbles in a distracted manner
as she breaks away from the other two. She does not seem hurt.

Demonder sighs. Another time this would have been amusing, yet clearly Rennar
is angered with someone. Not to mention has spills of blood on her dress,
looking to Renica and urges her with him and breaks into a run. Renica would
follow, no doubt, unlike her not to join in a run with Demonder. Unconciously
his hand goes to the side where his axe hangs as he runs some steps behind
Renica and looks to see who she is chasing.

Renica's eyes are huge. "What in the Light?" Seeing that she doesn't really
have that much choice, she lifts her skirts and breaks into a run.

A few moments longer, Rennar's steps come to a rather reluctant stop as she
glances about the more crowded square she has ended up in. "Where in the bloody
light has he gone...." She adds a few other curses not fitting of a noble as
she does so.

"Lady Rennar!" Renica gasps as she skids to a halt nearby. Her tone is shocked
and surprised, but she seems to be having quite a bit of fun. She touches her
belt knife to remind herself that it is there. "Who are we chasing?"

Demonder stops beside Rennar from his run, looking about with her and having no
idea who he is looking for. "Who?" Demonder can't help but ask.

"I would suspect it were my very own uncle had I not caught a look at his
features, however by the Dark One's own luck my uncle has escaped blame for
this particular prank." Rage seems to be held back tightly within Rennar's
eyes, along with other controlled emotions that seem to linger just within.
"Fortunate for him I was not able to catch his messenger, for I can not believe
he was anything less."

"Messenger? Uncle?Renica bubbles, full of questions. She pulls her cloak around
her and shivers, now that the faint glow in her cheeks begins to fade. "What
happened?"

Demonder takes Rennar's arm, now that she has stopped her chase, and looks her
over carefully to insure she is indeed alright. "A prank?" he asks quietly, and
not as successful as Rennar to keep his rage within him. Instead his hand again
goes unconciously to his axe as he scans the crowd. Too late to do anything
now, of course, yet this seems to calm him.

Rennar again nods her head curtly. It's something that's easily designated as
her irritation, and neither which is intended for Demonder or Renica. She
answers Demonder first, "I am assuming so. It was inline wiht things that
occured in the past." She smirks, "The blood is not mine." She attempts a
reassuring smile, "Nor of anyone in the House. There was a rather large, dead
bird sitting on the doorstep when I arrived to pick up a few of my things. It's
not a bird that we are accustomed to eatting either." Her words may hold some
meaning for Demonder, having been a bit more filled in about her past history
with her family than Renica. She turns her attention to Demonder's twin, still
keeping control of her emotions, "My uncle has a rather... .unusual sense of
humor." A good way to say he's a lunatic, no?

Renica's large dark eyes betray a hint of understanding. "How did that bird
blood get on your clothing?" she asks curiously, tucking in a few stray lock
that escaped during the run.

Demonder mutters something under his breath and then nods in understanding,
still looking over Renni carefully. Yes, she did say she was alright, yet there
is no doubt he wants to make sure for himself. "With these streets it is too
late to go hunting after the man, he must be long gone," Demonder states the
obvious. "Let's get you cleaned up, and then see if there's anything that can
be done," a hint of doubt mixed in with anger on his voice.

Rennar nods reluctantly, "I fear you are right." She responds to Demonder's
words, sighing softly, "Though all that needs done is being worked upon. The
servants were cleaning the rest of the mess when I took off after the man."

Demonder holds Rennar's hand tightly in his. "We'll figure something out," he
responds quietly, taking her arm and beginning to lead her toward the palace.
"Not often I see you sprint after men, I'm sure that one will not be bothering
you anytime soon."

Rennar shakes her head as Demonder starts moving toward the Palace, "Not
there." She comments quietly, "Back to my manor. I would not wish for any to
see me like this there."

Demonder nods and does quickly spin Rennar around toward his manor. He can't
have his wife to be blood-tripping. "And this happened at your manor?"

"Aye." Rennar responds quietly, looking over her shoulder in the direction the
man disappeared.

Rennar makes her way back to Crown Roses avenue and heads to a rather old and
ancient looking manor house, Tiras Lorn.

Demonder leads you toward Tiras Lorn. "I didn't know you had taken back the
manor?"

"I decided enough was enough and it was time to move back in, whehter or not my
uncle was occupying our house." Rennar speaks softly, voice low enough for only
Demonder to hear.

"And he is still within?" Demonder asks as they approach the manor.

"He is living there, for now. He claims he is only here for a visit." Rennar
appears to smirk, "And is now spending far too much time speaking with Kelric
about 'stuff' fit for a young boy's mind." This too seems to irritate her. She
pushes open the gates and enters Tiras Lorn.

You pull open the heavy gates and enter the courtyard.

Courtyard Gardens: Tiras Lorn, Caemlyn(#4075RM)
Large white stone surrounds the courtyard of House Hune. Set into the western
wall is the gate, leading out of the manor. The manor house itself lies to the
east. A large marble portico runs down the middle of the courtyard in a
north/south direction, effectively dividing the large yard in half. It is large
enough to hold several wagons, and contains the stables in the northwest
corner. The half of the yard closest to the manor house is contained by the
portico which runs along the courtyard walls as well, and connect to the house.
This creates a covered walkway to protect you from the elements; shade from the
sun, and a roof to keep off rain and snow. The ground here is paved with stone,
with only a few weeds growing up here and there. In the center of the paved
area is a square flower garden.

Demonder pulls open the gate and comes in from the path.

Demonder leands Rennar into her manor, and nods to her comment quietly,
considering her words. "If you want, I will speak with Kerlic?" Demonder asks.

Rennar shakes her head a bit, "he and I are not on good terms right now, and I
don't think he'll want to listen to my intended." She continues into the manor.

You climb the stairs to the main door, and enter the house.

Entrance Hall: Tiras Lorn, Caemlyn(#4354RM)
You are in the foyer, or entrance hall, of House Hune. The walls around you are
made of white stone, and the floor is made of marble. Set into the middle of
the floor is a stone mosaic of the House Hune sigil. Doors and archways lead
off of the foyer into other parts of the building. But the most predominant
feature here is the staircase. It stands opposite the doors to the courtyard,
and is made of marble. It is in a horseshoe shape, with the two ends beginning
on the floor, and the height of the crescent reaching the second floor. There
is a small landing at the climax of the staircase, so it is possible to go from
one end of the stairs to the other without actually leaving the foyer. The
small landing area leads into the upstairs hallway, but is also useful as an
area from which to address large crowds in the foyer. Under the landing area is
the door to the kitchen. In the south wall is the door to the Steward's Office,
and the north wall contains the entrance to the Grand Hall. A large fireplace
also rests in the north wall, and gives heat to the main floor during the
winter.

Demonder enters the hall from the courtyard gardens.

Rennar continues further into the manor, heading for the stairs.

You climb the staircase to the second floor.

Upstairs Hallway: Tiras Lorn, Caemlyn(#4361R)
You stand in the upstairs hallway. The walls here are also of white stone, and
the floor is of white marble tiles. The ceiling has stuccoed geometric designs
on it, and banners hang along the walls at various spots. Wooden doors, painted
white, lead off the hallway into personal rooms, and one leads off to the
servant's hallway. Another door leads into the Nursery where the younger girls
have their rooms. At the one end of the hall is the staircase leading down to
the main floor.

Demonder enters the hallway from the staircase in the entry hall.

"This is not well," Demonder states quietly, but stays quiet until they are in
more privacy.

"I know, but at the moment, there's nothing much I can do about it." Rennar
sighs deeply.

Demonder joins in Renni's sigh. "I still favor my idea of using force," he
notes quietly.

You open the door and walk into the Outer Chambers of Rennar's Rooms.

Sitting Room: Rennar's Apartments, Tiras Lorn(#3364RFJM$)
This is the outer chamber to Rennar's rooms. It resembles a small sitting room
and appears to be lavishly decorated in antique hardwood furniture, with a
traditional red velvet covering any of the upholstery. There is a large bay
window, with a window seat, that looks out onto the streets of Caemlyn; a small
flowering plant hangs in the window, catching the sun's rays. There is a
loveseat, settee and small table in the room for those who might care to sit
down and rest.
There are two doors in this room, both are sturdy and made of a dark-stained,
heavy oak wood; one leads into a private bedchamber and the other leads back
out into the hallway.

Demonder enters the room from the hallway.

"I know. However I want things to remain as quiet as possible. At this moment
in time I do not need tongues wagging. I need to figure out what I am going to
do about him. I assure you, if there's a way you can help, I will let you
know." Rennar gently squeezes Demonder's arm as she speaks.

Demonder releases you from his arms to close the door behind them. "To think
that he'd still be demented enough for pranks," Demonder bites of the words,
now apparantly showing more of his agression. Making sure there are more in
private, he takes Renni's hand again, trying to kiss her without exactly
getting the blood on him as well. "What type of man ..." his voice trails on
that.

"One who is obsessed with Power." Rennar responds after gladly accepting the
kiss. She sighs deeply, then glances about, "I am glad to be home though.
Staying at my Aunt's manor was proving to be something of a nerve wrecking
experience. My younger cousins are absolute terrors."

Demonder manages a light chuckle escape between those hard expressions on the
subject of Renni's cousins. "Yes, perhaps," he notes quietly with a smile, his
eyes beginning to scan her room. "So this is Lady Rennar's apartment within the
manor?" he asks quietly, that anger subsiding slightly from his expression.

Rennar inclines her head lightly, as she regards Demonder, "Well, the outer
chamber to my apartments. I spend most of my time here."

Demonder looks to your dress, and shakes his head slightly. "It is always your
dresses that suffer," he notes, a smile touching his lips. And then it leaves,
as he turns away and clenches his fist. "He is sick," Demonder states flatly.

"I never denied that." Rennar speaks softly. "If you will excuse me a moment."
She murmurs to Demonder, "I need to change."

Demonder nods to that, and taking the moment to watch his wife-to-be make her
way out to change. "Others would have delt with him differently, I'm sure. But
I don't think it is within us to stoop to the levels your uncle would."

Rennar disappears behind another set of doors, presumably leading into her
inner chambers, holding her bed and other things. It does not take long for her
to get changed out of the marred dress and come back looking refreshed,
somewhat, "I would never stoop to his levels, and i know others would deal with
it differently. However, there's still no real proof that he did this, even
though it reeks of him."

Demonder seems to have calmed by the time Renni comes back, this time his smile
less masked by anger. "Most would argue proof enough considering the past, but
I understand. It seems that men like him feed off the fact that we won't stoop
to his level. Our honor is his best defense, is it not? Our idealogy to do what
is right gives him full advantage to take advange of the situation."

Demonder follows Renni to the window seat and sits down with her. "When he
changes he will leave your manor willingly and apologize for what he's done in
the past," Demonder states flatly, an hand going over Renni's. "Until then we
can only assume the worst of him. And I thought my family would be trouble, yet
they only prove to be amusing compared to this."

"Be glad that is all they are. Unless there are any bad seeds hidden amongst
them somewhere." Renanr gives Demonder a questioning glance, as if asking.

Demonder chuckles. "Besides my brother?" Demonder asks. "Pitor will make his
case to lead House Roesone, I'm sure, but his methods would be cruel in the
most obvious ways. Cairhien's would likely consider Pitor's ways honorable," he
notes the last with a touch of amusement.

Rennar shrugs slightly, "I should ask a few of my Cairhienin cousins. Though I
have doubts that they would all agree iwth his methods."
