The Queen's Suite: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn
You find yourself in an immense room, with a white marble floor and the same white stone walls that make up the rest of the Palace. The ceiling is a high, vaulted arch and wide, fluted columns line the east and west sides of the room. Red-and-white liveried servants busy themselves with dusting tables and sweeping the huge expanse of floor. A roaring blaze keeps the huge room warm to the furthest corners during the dead of winter. A tall, arched stone doorway, curtained in thick red velvet, leads further into the chambers. A pair of huge double-doors, gilded in gold, lead out of the room.

Tentatively, Rennar comes in behind the servant. Her hands fidget with the skirts of her new dress, the other clothing - the white cotton shirt and the tan pants, now replaced. She doesn't look at the Queen, this being the first time she's come to visit after... that last incident and her return to her proper life. She half-bows half-curtsies as is appropriate of a noble of court in addressing the Queen, not rising until told to do so. Odd behavior, but then again there were very many uncertainties the last time she was present.
Aislynn sits upon one of her fine velvet settees, amazingly dressed (as for the past...however long it has been since you revealed the vision to her, she has been in nightgowns, and in the most distressing state of disarray--dirty hair, etc.) in her finery once again. A large book, seeming very old, is spread out upon her lap, and she looks up from it as you enter, offering you a warm, although wan and tired, smile. "Good evening, Rennar....Please..have a seat."
"Good evening, your Majesty..." The young head of Hune answers, rising gracefully from her position, "Thank you..." She moves to one of the chairs not too far away from the Queen, yet not too close. It's almost as if she is distancing herself, almost frightened of any reactions the Queen might have still. "I came to speak to you about something of importance, or may seem of importance." She begins, still keeping her eyes lowered.
Aislynn nods, looking at you with some measure of concern, as she closes the great book quickly, as if not wanting anyone else to see its title. "Please, Rennar. I am at your disposal."
Rennar does not seem interested in the book or its title, in fact she doesn't look at the Queen, she looks at her hands instead, studying them as she picks at bits and pieces of unfinished threads on her hastily made dress. "I was informed that there may be an assassin within your employ, unknowingly of course, amongst your servants... one of the ones that got away from Tiras Lorn the night that you took the House back from Jeffrin."
Aislynn lifts a pale golden brow, her face going a shade paler than its already sickly pallor. "Here?" she says, in a quiet tone. "As if there weren't enough going wrong already....Do you wish to have secure quarters, Rennar?" She does not ask how you came by this information, having been privy to your knowledges fairly recently. :)
"I will have to speak with Demonder, before I give you an answer on that." Rennar replies in a quiet voice, chancing a look up at the Queen, "I was also informed that the man is after me... to finish the job that he botched. However, I would not put it past him to risk temptation. I felt it only best that I should warn you, as you and Prince Greydon are the only two that I know I can positively trust within the Palace."
Aislynn nods, listening intently. "I thank you for coming to me, Rennar, and telling me this. I will have the Guard strengthened in and about the Palace somewhat...not enough to cause undue attention. I will have some of my more...elite Guards go about in plain clothing...to spy out what they can see."
A brief nod of the head answers the Queen, "I felt it was something you needed to know. You are a friend..." There is a hint of question in her voice, as if she may be doubting them right now, that uncertainty showing all throughout her actions.
Aislynn lifts a brow at this, catching your tone, and seeming saddened. "Why seem you so uncertain, Rennar? Are you fearful that I am angry with you for what you disclosed--in the name of friendship?"
"What I disclosed I would not wish on my worst enemy, your Majesty." Rennar murmurs quietly, her eyes going back down to her hands. "How could I not be frightened of how you'd react to such... news." There is a slight hesitation at the end, almost as if she could not find the right wording.
Nodding at these words, Aislynn replies, in a low voice, "I cannot fault you for telling me, for I believe you did it for the right reasons. Not to mention the fact that I asked for you to tell me." She makes a heavy sigh before continuing, "And I must admit that the...news...was shocking. So much so that I have not been myself these past weeks." Her lips curve faintly, and she admits, "Narine actually -slapped- me...which I believe helped to draw me from whatever downward spiral I was intent upon. Now, I shall simply deal with it." She speaks these last words with a cold resolution, as if to say that this is -her- child, and no matter what, she intends to nurture him and keep him until such time as that becomes impossible.
A small, barely imperceptible smile managse to make its way on Rennar's lips, "It warms my heart, to know that you are not angry with me, Aislynn..." She drops the title, going back to more her more informal mode for when she speaks privately with her friend and Queen. "I do not think I could get through things without your friendship and Demonder's love to aid me."
Aislynn mirrors the smile, though tiredly. "I am just glad that you are back, and safe. Which I hope stays that way. This news troubles me....but not so much as I normally would be. Please let me know what you and Demonder decide. I can offer you 'round the clock protection of you wish it." She reaches out and warmly touches your arm, a gesture of sincere friendship. "And I do not think I could steel myself to go through what awaits me...did I not have the friendship of you and a very fewo thers."
Rennar's smile seems to strengthen and warm a bit more, "I think I shall leave you to rest now, Aislynn. You look as if you need it still." Her eyes warmly regard the Queen, in the way friends regard one another. "Do take care of yourself, and I will call upon you as soon as we do decide."
Aislynn inclines her head warmly, "The Light illumine you, Rennar...and I am glad you came to talk...."
