Molti si saranno fatti questa domanda, ma forse solo pochi sanno esattamente chi è l'hacker. La parola Hacker viene tradotta in italiano come "Pirata informatico"... ma effettivamente questo termine non fa altro che confondere e spaventare !!! E' venuto il momento di svelare il mistero: Gli hacker non "esistono" in quanto tali!!! Esiste solo un modo di pensare da hacker ... quello che voglio dire è che una persona può essere capace a fare di "tutto" con il suo computer, ma non per questo può definirsi HACKER !!! Possiamo quindi dire che è un hacker chiunque pensa e agisce secondo una precisa etica comportamentale! (che tenteremo di spiegare più avanti)
E' sbagliato pensare l'hacker come un frustrato o un asociale, anche se a molte persone conviene diffondere queste convinzioni per creare confusione o per demonizzare un fenomeno che si sta diffondendo in tutto il mondo !
Ma la mia domanda è : "Perchè qualcuno ha interesse a tenere in ombra e a smitizzare gli hacker ?"

Il mio parere è solo uno tra i tanti, non voglio difendere l'illegalità ne tantomeno incoraggiare persone a gesti spropositati, ma non è giusto continuare con questa disinformazione globale. Tutto quello che succede in negativo viene identificato come fenomeno hacker, ma smettetela di prenderci in giro ... guardate meno film e non pensate con la testa degli altri, cercate di capire veramente cosa sta succedendo ...
Gli hacker sono persone normali con una vita normale e vi assicuro: non rubano nelle banche e non sono dei criminali pazzoidi e potete star certi: non vogliono distruggere il vostro computer ne tantomeno danneggiare la rete ...

Per dare una risposta precisa a questa domanda dovremmo parlare per ore e ore ... Quello che vi posso dire è che principalmente un hacker cerca di entrare in sistema per poter guardare le informazioni contenute in esso! Per poter far questo: cioè guadagnare l'accesso ad un computer, talvolta l'hacker è costretto a mesi e mesi di ricerche e continui tentativi ... è un'eterna sfida che non può essere persa !!!
... e secondo voi perchò fa questo ... non è solo curiosità ... è voglia di giustizia e verità !!!

Quelli che seguono la filosofia hacker non provocano danni (volontariamente) a nessun sistema che riescono a violare, non cancellano file (tranne naturalmente quelli che potrebbero farli scoprire), non diffondono virus e non modificano niente (sempre nel limite della loro sicurezza). E allora vi starete domandando: " di cosa devo aver paura ? " bhe la risposta alla vostra domanda è semplicissima: Bisogna temere chi ha le capacità di un hacker, ma non agisce da tale e non segue una precisa etica comportamentale! A questo punto è necessario proporre un estratto da una delle più famose guide all'hacking che espone punto per punto il pensiero filosofico di un pirata informatico...

I. Do not intentionally damage *any* system.

II. Do not alter any system files other than ones needed to ensure your escape from detection and your future access (Trojan Horses, Altering Logs, and the like are all necessary to your survival for as long as possible.)

III. Do not leave your (or anyone else's) real name, real handle, or real phone number on any system that you access illegally. They *can* and will track you down from your handle!

IV. Be careful who you share information with. Feds are getting trickier. Generally, if you don't know their voice phone number, name, and occupation or haven't spoken with them voice on non-info trading conversations, be wary.

V. Do not leave your real phone number to anyone you don't know. This includes logging on boards, no matter how k-rad they seem. If you don't know the sysop, leave a note telling some trustworthy people that will validate you.

VI. Do not hack government computers. Yes, there are government systems that are safe to hack, but they are few and far between. And the government has inifitely more time and resources to track you down than a company who has to make a profit and justify expenses.

VII. Don't use codes unless there is *NO* way around it (you don't have a local telenet or tymnet outdial and can't connect to anything 800...) You use codes long enough, you will get caught. Period.

VIII. Don't be afraid to be paranoid. Remember, you *are* breaking the law. It doesn't hurt to store everything encrypted on your hard disk, or keep your notes buried in the backyard or in the trunk of your car. You may feel a little funny, but you'll feel a lot funnier when you when you meet Bruno, your transvestite cellmate who axed his family to Watch what you post on boards.

IX. Most of the really great hackers in the country post *nothing* about the system they're currently working except in the broadest sense (I'm working on a UNIX, or a COSMOS, or something generic. Not -I'm hacking into General Electric's Voice Mail System- or something inane and revealing like that.)

X. Don't be afraid to ask questions. That's what more experienced hackers are for. Don't expect *everything* you ask to be answered, though. There are some things (LMOS, for instance) that a begining hacker shouldn't mess with. You'll either get caught, or screw it up for others, or both.

XI. Finally, you have to actually hack. You can hang out on boards all you want, and you can read all the text files in the world, but until you actually start doing it, you'll never know what it's all about. There's no thrill quite the same as getting into your first system (well, ok, I can think of a couple of bigger thrills, but you get the picture.)

Sfortunatamente (come anticipavo prima ) bisogna temere non tanto gli hacker, ma quelli che si credono tali... coloro che hanno le conoscenze informatiche e le usano a sproposito creando confusione, distruggendo sistemi, diffondendo virus e rendendo la vita impossibile agli ignari naviganti !!!
Esistono cose che è difficile anche immaginare ... persone che vengono pagate apposta per screditare case di software o per diffondere virus nella rete !!! ... E non tralasciate il fenomeno gogliardico ... ragazzi che giocano con il loro nuovo programmino e si sentono hacker solo perchè riescono ad aprire il lettore cd a qualche "amico" !!!
Questi individui sono solo feccia, "Lamerz" che molto spesso non sono neanche molto esperti, utilizzano infatti programmini facilissimi da usare (che li rendono padroni di un sapere che non gli appartiene e che non sono degni di avere!!!)
