Summary:The White Tower sends a party of Aes Sedai, Warders, and others to help mediate in the Murandy and Andor tensions. This log contains their arrival into the palace.

Kellian is sitting atop a large gray mare, her flanks and neck draped in royal red trimmed in gold. The short Captain-General looks on as the entourage from the White Tower arrives, his emotions carefully held in check as he looks at each face that enters. His hands rest on the pommel of his saddle as he says kindly to Rio Sedai,"The tower has done me honor in the past, I am only returning the favor, Rio." (repose)

Sev comes in alongside Alwyne.

Caenna adjusts her shawl, and moves forward through the tunnel of men to greet Rio, a genuinely warm smile on her face. "Sister, a pleasure to se you, as always."

Rio inclines her head to Captain-General Vesyer, "I thank you for your kindness, Kellian." She nods respectfully to the First Prince as he arrives on the steps. Then she looks out at the crowd of 60 men and women, seeking the leader of the party.

A double line of Kellian's cavalry line the portcullis as an honor guard for the arriving party from the White Tower.

Tone steps hesitantly in at the back of the group his lower status making and nervous at the sheer imensity of the palace making his normally bostrious personality subdued.

Lorewyr stands off to Rio's right, several paces behind her, attempting as regal, and relaxed a stance as he can.

Darius meanders out from the Palace, smilng vaguely as he does so. However, an honor guard welcoming a group from the Tower is enough to even get his attention. He pauses, a few steps away from having to go and join the welcome, looking thoughtfully.

Alwyne glances over from where she stands, behind and slightly to one side of Caenna, and notices Darius walking by.

Rio smiles as Caenna Sedai comes forward through the crowd. She had not realized that her old friend was leading the group. "Caenna Sedai, it is indeed my pleasure to welcome you to the palace here in Caemlyn. May I present to you, First Prince Theowyn Veyser." She gestures to the arriving royal prince.

The First Prince of the Sword makes his way down the steps of the Palace, showing a relieved expression as he sees the Tower party has indeed arrived. He looks between Kellian and Rio briefly before stepping forward. Theowyn is dressed in his obvious royal clothing, though simple in comparison, not flaunting by any means. The decorative sword at his hip is not there, instead an actual useful one. With the presentation from Rio, he steps forward. "Caenna Sedai," he bows his head appropriately. "Welcome to Caemlyn."

Einone's eyes widen a little further as she watches all the dignatories, trying to keep from gawking

Caenna smiles, bending her head as protocol requires. "Prince Theowyn. We have met before, under worse conditions. I am pleased to meet you again." She turns slightly, "May I present my companions?"

Tone , remebering a few of his hurried lesson about protcol and manners, manages to pry his awe filled gaze away from the granduer of the palace, and the majestic fanfare setup for their arrival, to the matters at hand. Which basically amounts to, for him, chit chat.

Adon bows deeply to the newcomers, quickly moving to one knee to kneel as is proper.

Lorewyr remains at stoic attention, face a mask hiding all emotions, but his eyes are wide, showing his awe of the situation.

Tone seeing Adon's movement quickly hurries to duplicate the mannerism, and while not failing completely, does manage to look a good deal less practiced at the maunever.

Sev bows properly and spares a smile.

Alwyne inclines her head politely to Theowyn.

Lorewyr remembers himself, and bows, formally.

Einone up the back is probably not noticed but curtseys when appropraite, as gracefully as she can with a lame leg, bells chimming softly in response to her movements

Kellian sits on horseback, just to Rio Sedai's left, his eyes scanning the walls, and looking to the guards, wary of trouble even at this moment. He glances back at the greeting of old friends, and then the introduction of his half brother the First Prince, he leaves such pleasantries to a man who was raised to handle them. He will do what he was raised to do. Protect. Once the party has entered the courtyard he calls out to the honor guard,"Arms at Rest!" The Lieutenant that leads them echoes his command and in a fluid motion of unity they sheath their swords and turn their mounts toward the courtyard. "Stand down!" again the echo and they move into the courtyard and form up in one corner. Two lines.

Rio walks a few more steps and protocol aside, gives Caenna a warm hug. "You have done well, Caenna." Rio speaks as an elder Aes Sedai to a woman that she had trained as a novice and later as an Accepted. "How was your journey? No trouble from the whitecloaks I hope?"

Darius nods to himself- he is most definitly *not* needed hereabouts. Nope. Just walk back to the Palace. Preferibly before being noticed.

Caenna laughs, breaking free of her rehearsed stance. "None at all this time, Rio."

Rio nods. "You are fortunate. My last trip to Tar Valon a whole company of them decided to...escort us. Very unnerving."

Tone watches the intial proceeding his attention rapidly fading from the introductions and reunions. After a couple of more seconds his attention manages to drift once more to the pretty surrondings.. Atleast untill things get a little more intreseting.

Adon rises easily to his feet, straightening to look around.

Caenna glances behind her. "I don't know if you ever met Alwyne Sedai?"

Rio inclines her head to the blue sister. "Indeed, I have. Peace be upon you, Alwyne. I trust that you time in the white tower was beneficial?"

Alwyne nods. "Yes, it was. I look forward to speaking with you later, if possible."

Theowyn's features break into a simple smile as he watches the Aes Sedai give eachother sisterly hugs. He turns to Kellian briefly, nodding, and then goes to take this time to scan across the other people from the Tower. The Prince tries to meet eyes as he considers each briefly in turn. "Alwyne Sedai, Brother Sev," he begins to greet a few he recognizes. "We will have time to better acquaint. Would your party wish to dine within the Palace this evening?"

Lorewyr resumes his stoic looking pose.

Rio nods to the blue sister and murmers, "Of course, I would be glad to." She then turns as Theowyn speaks and listens to the First Prince.

Sev nods in recognition of the Prince, again, he lets a smile break the officious calm of the assemblage.

Adon's topknot swings just a bit behind him as he glances to and fro, vigilant.

Caenna nods. "Speaking for the group - we'd be honored." She glances at Einone briefly, almost a warning look. Nearly.

Alwyne nods politely in response to the Prince's greeting, then glances to Caenna as her Sister responds for the party.

Einone almost misses Caenna's look as she watches everything, wide glorius eyes even larger

Rio glances at the herald and nods to him.

Tone hears the mention of food and deciding this to be more intreseting than the hugging Sedai, though not by far, he turns his direction toward the Theowyn fellow, then to the Sedai as she accepts. With the chance for free, and probably good seeing how this is a palace and all, food he looks egar to get on with the 'greeting' and on to the food.

Theowyn flashes a brief but broad smile. "Then please, right this way." For a Prince he is casual in tone, and his arm straightens to indicate the doors of the palace. "Captain-General Kellian, than-you for arranging the men," he adds. "You will join us, of course?"

Kellian looks at Theowyn, and nods,"It would be my pleasure, Theowyn." He climbs down from his mount then. Handing her off to a stable hand he smiles faintly at Rio before moving up to follow Theowyn.

Raziah enters the courtyard through the sally-port in the great gates.

Rio falls in behind the two princes after giving Caenna a reasuring smile. She motions for them to follow after her.

Kellian turns to Rio after reaching Theowyn's side,"Perhaps you and the party from the Tower should enter first. I will make certain everyone arrives at table safely." He bows his head to Theo and to Rio, then moves past the party back toward the courtyard, giving quiet orders to the men there.

Darius glances about rapidly, the Tower-types suddenly headed towards the Palace. He Very Casually strides out of their way, towards the Garden.

Lorewyr turns and heads for the entrance before everyone else, being the Herald, his job is almost never done.

Kellian dropped A guardsman.

A guardsman walks through the gleaming white double doors, into the Royal Palace.

A guardsman has left.

Lorewyr stops at the doors, awaiting the Royal procession.

Theowyn waits for Caenna to step forward toward the doors, before taking to her side opposite of where Rio might be. "Caenna Sedai, I do not think we've had the opportunity of meeting while I was receiving my Tower Training," he indicates, a slight question in his tone.

Tone follows the group up to the door staying at the back where his rank always seems to place him. Looking around the group he sighs and wishes there was a Trainee here to go last.

Rio begins to move up the steps toward the entrance of the palace, taking her place to one side of the First Prince.

Lorewyr waits at the doors.

Caenna shakes her head, matching pace. "Indeed not. It was after that altercation where Kellian was taken, for unknown reasons. And very brief."

Servants and guards bustle past you as you walk into the Royal Palace.

Entry Hall: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn

Caenna walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Rio walks softly up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Lorewyr walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Rio walks along with Theowyn and Caenna through the entryway of the great palace. The courtiers in the halls all stand aside as the group enters in mass and gawk at the strangers from Tar Valon. Rio takes it all in stride though and remains quiet as the prince and her friend chat.

Lorewyr follows along, attempting to look regal, and formal.

Adon walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Tone walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Raziah wanders up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Sev walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Alwyne walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Einone walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Rio walks along with Theowyn and Caenna through the entryway of the great palace. The courtiers in the halls all stand aside as the group enters in mass and gawk at the strangers from Tar Valon. Rio takes it all in stride though and remains quiet as the prince and her friend chat.

Kellian walks up the white steps into the foyer of the Palace.

Kellian enters the palace after assuring everyone is in and accounted for.

"Indeed, Caenna Sedai. We will have more then opportunity for the next while." The tone is light, as he walks ahead but without rush. Theowyn rounds the path toward the dining hall, the Guardsman urging the doors open as he leads through, seemingly doing so in wait for Rio to be at his side. From there, he will proceed to the head of the table.

Einone limps along towards the rear, her apperance marking her as quiet alien to Andor. Every motion accompanied by the soft chimming of the silver bells that adorn her hair

Caenna falls back a step, to allow the prince and his advisor to enter first.

Adon's eyes roam over the hall at large, quietly evaluating everything they take in.

Lorewyr follows Theowyn.

Raziah holds herself calmly. It almost seems as if she's done this before.

Alwyne waits quietly, glancing about the Hall.

You walk west through a tall, curving archway of white stone.

Dining Hall: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn

Rio walks softly into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Lorewyr walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Rio finds her way to the head table and seats herself off to one side, making herself comfortable there, once Theowyn has made himself comfortable. The dinning room is set with several tables covered in red table clothes and golden dishes. Servents stand at the sides of the room waiting with selections of fine wine, sparkling waters, juices and tea. The main course still awaits in the kitchen beyond, but an enticing scent of roast beef and vegtables can be sensed.

Lorewyr steps in, and pauses by the door, ready to announce those that enter.

Theowyn heads toward the head of the table with Rio. Some royal training shows, as he looks in between servants and the arrangements to insure they are well placed for this evening. Otherwise, he simply moves to stand behind his seat. With a nod to Lorewyr, he takes his seat.

Caenna walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Lorewyr announces in a regal voice, rich, and carrying, "Caenne Sedai of the White Ajah."

Caenna paces in, hands behind her back, a wry smile on her face.

Alwyne walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Lorewyr annouces the next, his voice loud, and fit for the royal court, "Alwyne Sedai."

Alwyne calmly steps through the doors leading into the dining hall.

Alwyne serenely makes her way over towards the table, where everyone else has gathered.

Rio remains seated at the head table and inclines her head to the sisters as they enter the room one by one.

Theowyn sits at the head. A Queen's Guard seems to have reserved a seat on the corner beside Theowyn.

Caenna crosses to take a seat next to Rio, murmuring something in a low voice.

Rio mutter caenna=:smiles at her friend, "Of course. It would be a shame to waste such fine soup though. The palace cooks are excellent."

Alwyne calmly seats herself with the other sisters, though further away from the head of the table.

Sev walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Lorewyr takes a breath, and announces the next, voice still rich, and dripping with royal granduer, "Sev Gaidin"

Sev makes appropriate obesances.

Rio motions for Caenna Sedai to join her at the head table on the side of the room. She is seated near Theowyn and there is a single chair kept in reserve near the First Prince.

Raziah wanders into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Lorewyr calls out the next person in line with the same rich, and royal voice, "Raziah ibn Sulamaad, Accepted of the White Tower."

Rio leans over and whispers to Caenna.

Sev slips up tp Alwyne's side.

Raziah walks in and curtsies deeply and appropriately with a bright smile. If she is feeling nervous, she isn't showing it now.

Caenna nods to Rio, mouth upturned in a rueful smile. She mutters to Rio, "... that..."

Tone walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Raziah moves to join the rest of the group

Lorewyr inhales, and settles his legs appart, voice carrying above the small conversations, "Proven Tone Rambler."

Theowyn whispers a few instructions to a passing servant, watching the Tower party enter, noting rank and position. It would be noted that he is observing, judging, and considering.

Tone steps though the door, and almost flinches as the man introduces him. Staring around nervously a bit he heads toward the table where all the tower folk seem to have gravitated too.

Caenna steeples her fingers, gives Rio a smile. "You're looking well."

Einone walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Rio inclines her head to Caenna. "I am a native of Caemlyn after all, so taking the post here was like coming home." Nevermind that Rio never saw the royal palace until she took the shawl as an Aes Sedai.

Lorewyr takes one more deep, and powerful breath, and announces, "And finally, Novice Einone Korovin."

Raziah smiles to Einone.

Tone finds himself a seat in his proper rank, and settles down feeling some of his nervousness subside, mostly at the thought, and the smell of the food, but also because he no loner has to walk across the entire hall with people staring at him.

All those etiquette classes seem to have paid off, with the soft chimming of the silver bells in her hair Einone enters, holding her tall slender frame very upright, poised and elegant, moving foward her limp offsets this slightly but she allows for it as best she can

Alwyne sits quietly, watching the room slowly fill with people. Every once in a while she glances towards her Sisters, but for the most part she seems content to listen to the conversation, rather than speak.

Off to the side of the room, the palace servents in their bright red and white livery hold bottles of wine that has been chilled and is ready to serve to the guests of the palace.

Caenna nods. "I had forgotten. Fortunate, then."

Einone tries to ignore the stares her very foreign apperance garners, limping further through the room and to her place, bells chimming softly

Sev takes a seat by Alwyne... at least he takes the situation naturally.

Einonesits near Raziah, dropping her voice she murmers 'Did I do alright?'

Off to the side of the room, the palace servents in their bright red and white livery hold bottles of wine that has been chilled and is ready to serve to the guests of the palace. The food is still in the kitchen, waiting to be served to the guests.

Rezna walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Vasimer arrives with Rezna.

Maricca arrives with Rezna.

Raziah smiles to Einone, and nods, "Perfectly," she says quietly.

Lorewyr speaks in his loud, rich, voice, "Ambassador Rezna, and his wife."

Caenna relaxes in her chair, admitting quietly, "I never cared much for the ship."

Vasimer slips in with the ambassador and moves to one side, out of the way. Seeing how he wasn't introduced he is most likely a personal guard of some sort.

Rezna comes tromping in with his wife and her guard in tow. He has a look around and seems dubious al of the sudden..such interesting guests.

Tone is sitting at the table with the rest of the Tower folks waiting for his food to arrive, but noticing the new group's entrance he glances over just long enough to look at each one before motioning toward one of the servants to fill his cup up.

Einone glances up curiously as the ambassador is announced, bells jingling softly

Maricca walks proudly beside her husband, her emerald eyes scan the room as she nods to the new arrivals.

Theowyn watches Rezna, hinting with amusement though not for long. A servant brings Thoewyn a glass of red wine, setting it before him.

The room is set up with several tables all with fine linens and cutlery. Glasses await to be filled by the servents once the guests have all arrived. All of the Aes Sedai party have been seated by now. Aes Sedai, Gaidin and Silver Flames, the higher ranked nearer to the head table where the First Prince, Rio Sedai and Caenna Sedai are seated. There is a place of honor near the front of the room reserved for the ambassadorial guests of the palace.

Alwyne murmurs something softly to Rio and Caenna.

Einone takes only a small sip of her wine, trying to stay poised and hide her nerves

The palace serverts mingle among the tables of the guests, offering them their choice of beverages. When something is selected, it is elegantly poured and presented with a flourish.

Rezna is not entirely certain where to begin. The little guy seems to lock onto that annoying pest of a Hune he met not so long ago. The one that told him he should learn to cultivate subtlty. He also notes the Hune's annoying mistress and can very easily guess what she must be talking to Rio and Caenna about. He leads his wife to the table reserved for them and pulls a chair out for her.

Rio chuckles as Alwyne murmers to her and the white sister, nodding to the blue in agreement.

Einone takes another small sip of wine and murmers 'Little different to what my father served'

Rio leans over to Caenna and motions toward the Cairheien Ambassador Rezna.

Alwyne seems to sense Rezna's eyes on her and gives him a long, cool look for a moment, before turning her attention back towards Caenna and Rio.

Caenna takes a glass of wine, mouth twitching slightly. She nods.

Maricca smiles to her husband and takes her seat "Darling I would love a glass of wine."

Alwyne speaks softly to her Sisters for another moment.

Vasimer waves away a servant who offers him a drink and takes up a position near the table that Rezna and his wife are seated at.

Rezna pushes his wife's seat in and then takes his own. He points to a server. "Then ask him for one dear. It's as easy as that."

Raziah nods, taking a small dainty sip. She watches the going ons, and smiles faintly, remaining fairly, but not all together, quiet.

Einone keeps her voice down so as not to draw any more attention to herself 'Is it much like this in Tarabon Accepted?'

Rio accepts a glass of red wine from one of the servents that makes his way to the head table. She leans over to Caenna and murmers, "Do try the red, Sister. It is a wonderful vintage." The gray sister places the stemware on the table before her and then looks at Alwyne as the blue sister speaks quietly to herself and Caenna.

Sev proves partial to the red when his own turn comes around.

Raziah shakes her head, though she tilts it at the same time, "Not entirely, but quite similar. I probably only think that because I knew more of the people." She answers Einone just as quietly.

Demonder walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Rennar arrives with Demonder.

Lorewyr calls out, his voice getting even more royal at this announcement, if it's possible, "Daughter-Heir, Duchess Rennar Hune, and her husband, Lord Demonder roesone."

Tone takes the glass that was handed to him, and more gulps at it than sips, untill he sees the other's behavior and slows his accordingly. Wondering what he is suppose to be doing he glances at the new arrivals and remains silent for the moment content to simply studied the newest members of the dinner party.

Rio inclines her head formally to the daughter-heir and her husband as they near the head table. There is, of course, a place of honor reserved for them near the head table along with the prince and the aes sedai. The drinks are still being served and the dinner has not quite begun yet.

A small frown touches Rennar's features as Lorewyr announces her as the Daughter-heir. She glances to Demonder, giving him something of a sigh, then places a rather unreadable expression on her features, while seeming pleasant at the same time. She dips her head graciously to any who actually take the time to acknowledge her arrival; something she had hoped would go completely without notice.

Einone glances to the new arrivals, large glorius eyes widenning a little further

Caenna glances up, cradling her goblet in both hands. Her face is thoughtful as she regards them.

Sev raises a glass to Rennar as she enters, and glances to check up on Tone.

Vasimer glances idly towards the newest arrivals but doesn't seem particularly interested in them, or anyone else in the room.

Demonder blinks a few times at Lorewyr, but then decides to shake his head briefly. He does bow his head attempting to mimic Rennar. The young Lord's dark purple lifts from the floor as he guides Rennar toward the tables. Which table is a point of interest, and he seems to look to Rennar in that matter. Seeming guided to spot the guide, he heads toward the indicated place.

Alwyne turns to watch the new arrivals and actually smiles at the Lady Rennar.

Raziah looks up at the name Roesone, though her face remains a plesant smile, as she nods her head as if she were curtsying in her seat, as she regards the Daughter-Heir.

Maricca nods to her husband and takes a wine from the server, she sips it slowly and grows quiet. She so detests such large gatherings.

Theowyn spies out Rennar much like the others would. The smile on Theowyn's features nears a smug tone, as though some great task had been accomplished. The First Prince bows his head lightly to her, and then leans forward to sip at his red wine.

The servents have made sure that all of theguests now have a beverage of their choice, be it wine, sangria or fruit juice. The head waiter gives a small bow to the First Prince as a sign that all is ready and waiting for the man's signal.

Raziah smiles and shakes her head whispering to Einone, She mutters to Einone, "I've never... of... this..."

Alwyne accepts a glass of red wine from a servant, then turns back to those at her end of the table.

Kellian walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Tone watches the Daughter-Heir, wondering if he should stand up and bow or something, but seeing Sev's simple glass salute decides to do the same. He glances at all the dignitaries feeling a little out of place, but tring not to show it.

Rennar leans in closely to Demonder, seemingly sticking closer to his side more now than when they were in the entry hall. Her eyes carefully scan those in the room, yet at the same time seem to particularly pass over the Aes Sedai as though they were not even in existance. She mutters to Demonder, "Remember,... then we... be... back... don't want... stay..."

Lorewyr straightens up, and takes another breath, his voice burst forth once more, and announces, "Captain-General Kellian Versyr."

Demonder actually nudges away a servant that was offering to pull the seat for Rennar, doing so himself. He nods. "Of course." As he waits for Rennar to be seated, he watches over those immidiately around them.

Alwyne raises her eyebrow slightly at the lady's lack of response, but simply sips her wine and watches.

A guardsman has left.

Lorewyr settles into a more comfortable position by the door, hands folded behind his back, he stands, ready to fill any need he's called on to do.

It might be noticed that Rennar chooses the seat furthest away from the First Prince, even if they are situated at the same table. "Thank you." She murmurs to Demonder, though that frown still has not seemed to have entirely left her features.

You have 1 unread +mail message(s) out of a total of 109 in your 'main' +mail folder.

Kellian enters and walks to the chair that is pointed out to him by a servant, near Theowyn and Rio Sedai. He scans the room, checking that the guards are in place at the door. And that all is well here. He reaches his chair and looks at it for a moment as if he's never seen such a thing before. He pulls the chair out himself, then looks around at those seated here and finally takes his place among them.

Einone mutters to Raziah, "... but... know how to... here I... my depth"

Caenna sips at her wineglass slowly, a slightly worried look passing over her face as her thoughts wander.

Demonder takes his seat beside Rennar. "Daughter-Heir? I had not realized they wish to continue to announce your position," and the way Demonder gazes over the Tower party. "Well, regardless." He pushes in the seat.

Tone watches the people around the table, and then over at Sev. Lowering his voice he nods his head toward most of the dignartries, "Got a question fer ya. I recognize tha Daugther-heir from tha descripitions.. But most o them other people.. .Well sides there intro.. I ain't got no guess." His voice still low enough so that only Sev can hear him, "If ya wouldn't mind fillin me in sir..."

Rennar's eyes turn toward the First Prince as she quietly responds to her husband, She mutters to Demonder, "... reason for avoiding... First... to... position... upon me,... or..."

Sev whispers to Tone.

Raziah looks over the crowd in the Dining Hall, and makes note of who is who in her mind, as she fingers the rose veil she wears. She looks to Einone, She mutters to Einone, "... perhaps, but... and... the shawl, you will..."

Theowyn leans to the side. "More guests," he manages to give his half brother a challenging gaze. He watches the tables settle, as all people seem to be seated. He pauses briefly, to let conversations settles.

Sev mutters to Tone, "... gentleman by... my... Demonder of... The... is... the Prince,... man... balding... Rezna, ambassador... Cairhein, he,..."

Demonder looks in the direction of the Prince, and then nods. He mutters to Rennar, "... the... with the... my love...."

Rio sips at the red wine that she has selected and smiles as Kellian finally joins them at the head table. "You take your duties seriously, Captain-General. Considering recent events, that is for the best."

Caenna readjusts her shawl, unused to wearing it for any length of time.

Sev mutters to Tone, "With... is... and..."

Rennar hesitates a moment, turning her attention to the table top, She mutters to Demonder, "... looking... not see... I... deal with them. Not only... Gaidin..." She shivers slightly over some discomfort, reaching out to catch the attention of one of the servants.

Kellian looks at Rio calmly and nods,"You should have learned long ago how important the safety of those under my care is to me." His tone is gentle and kind, unusual for him. He looks at Theowyn,"I do not think we have seen all the guests yet, brother."

Rio glances at Kellian with puzzlement. "Are still more of the ambassadors coming then? I'm surprised. So few of them hold the tower in high regard as Andor does."

Kellian smiles,"No, nothing that germaine. I am expecting others to have heard by now of our guests."

Caenna murmurs, "The Children of the Light, you mean?"

Demonder sighs in a hint of relief. He mutters to Rennar, "Well,... it... as well?" he asks that, near whisper in tone.

Tone nods his head to the Warder's words and gives him a quick apprasing glance as he goes over the list of guest naming some as realtives. After a few seconds he brings his gaze to the people the Warder mentioned storing away the information with a quick nod.

Raziah sighs quietly, taking a sip from her goblet and continues looking at the assorted guests.

Rennar gives a small shake of her head in response to something Demonder asks, She mutters to Demonder, "No,... to..."

Rio sighs and frowns. "I do not hold such in high regard, Caenna. I have suffered at their hands often enough in my life."

Rezna seems content to talk quietly with his wife and her guard. he has no desire to open up his mouth in front of a crowd of Aes Sedai.

Kellian looks at Caenna,"You are correct, Caenna Sedai. As Andor has a non-agression pact with them, and my sister Aislynn has not barred them from the palace, I am expecting them to seek to join our party. I do hope you can maintain order among your people while they are here. Just as my guard will ensure they will maintain their own decorum." Kellian looks toward those wide doors now, waiting.

Caenna nods to Rio. "I know, Sister. Few of us would disagree... And yes, Captain Kellian." Her gaze sweeps the table. "I believe there will be no trouble."

Rio sighs. "I had no idea that they had heard about this party. I would have prevented their coming if I could have." She shakes her head, "But you are right, there is the pact and Aislynn's word should be respected."

Sev speaks up, "Perhaps one day, there will be no cause for friction, eh? To understanding. "

Rio then looks at Caenna closely as if something has occured to her and she is puzzled by the white sister.

"The Children have made their place known with the Queen," Theowyn responds over the table after listening to the conversation quietly.

Theowyn stands, his glass being filled with fresh wine. He seems to wait patiently for the conversations to tone down. "On behalf of the Queen of Andor, I would likely to welcome the White Tower visiting party to Caemlyn. We know that at a time of tensions, those that offer aid in peace are well received in Andor." Obviously not a Prince that is accustomed to having formal arrangements, his sister usually taking them over with him simply watching, Theowyn rises his glass in toast.

Kellian mutters to Rio, "... your... I... at... you have,... is... grieve, just... I stood... for... to... Valon,... think of... future,... my... feelings on..."

Rezna looks around at all those assembled. Despite his best efforts...he's never been one to be able to abide with a mystery for long. his eyes go to the head of the table and he speaks up, his voice carries suprisingly when he wants it to. "If I may ask...who speaks for the tower expedition?"

Caenna turns her attention to Theowyn, lifting her glass as well in silent acknowledgement, before answering Rezna. "It would appear I do, Ambassador."

Maricca looks to her husband a bit surprised at his question. She sits back and listens curiously.

Raziah watches the others in the room carefully before following suit, as she raises her glass to the toast.

Alwyne raises her glass, then looks down towards Rezna as he speaks.

Tone just sits and let's his gaze wander to the people around him, wondering when the food will get here. But at the toast he rasies his glass to the welcome, and then a quick glance to Rezna, and his bluntness. The young proven even goes so far as to pale alittle thinking what would happen to him if he had done something with as much absolute tact as what he just saw.

Emrich walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Rio rises to her feet and lifts her glass as well and after the prince makes his toast, she drinks to it. Then she gives Kellian a nod of understanding after he speaks quietly to her.

Rennar quiets her ongoing conversation with her husband as Theowyn starts to speak. It is at that time that the servant she caught earlier starts to also bring drinks for herself and her husband. Demonder is served a wine of his choice, while Rennar gets tea. Having just been brought their drinks, they miss the 'toasting' of the Tower.

Rezna lifts his glass and takes a drink from it. He gets straight to the point. "Do forgive my ignorance...I have only learned of your presence here an hour ago." There is a pause. "Why are you here?"

Lorewyr stands at the door, and as a new guest arrives, moves to bar his passage, a deep frown on his face, "I'm sorry, Sir." He blinks at the man, noticing the signs of the Children of Light, "This is a private dinner reception, and all the guest have arrived. If you wish to speak with someone, I'll be happy to take a message to them." His voice is a little hushed, so as not to disturb the dinners.

Einone follows suit wth everyone trying not to draw attention

Demonder seems to insure Roesone wine is available, before responding to Rennar. He mutters to Rennar, "... man... in... is settled.... the... put... end to this threat... war.... been... heard of..."

Caenna's reply is in a suddenly distracted voice. "Perhaps this is not the best time to speak of this?" Her attention has moved on, is resting on the herald and the man he bars at the door.

Kahlil walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Kellian stands as well, and takes a drink from his Lemongrass Tea. No wine for the Captain-General.

Rennar gives a small shake of her head, disagreeing, She mutters to Demonder, "As long... will... after... to... what... right... 'Andor'. I will not make... nor... I... start any... that..."

Rezna shakes his head as his question is blown off. He looks back to his wife...making mental notes to be certain to treat Caenna in the same manner should they ever find themselves in discussion again in the future.

Kahlil enters the Dining Hall, looking around to survey the situations and people at hand, most of which is not readily apparent.

Theowyn looks to the door briefly, but seems unaware of the cause of this disturbance as he retakes his seat. "Well, certainly a fine line that is walked with the Children. I do see little reason for their desire to be among Aes Sedai, with all their fowl opinions."

Vasimer has left.

Emrich looks at the man barring his path with arrogance well practiced. "You would deny entrance to the Lord Captain Commander of the Children of the Light?" He seems shocked and no little insulted. "Surely the Children can greet our esteemed guests?" He gestures back out the door, where a few other Children await to enter.

Tone glances at Sev still not grasping all the thing that suddenly seem to be happening. Once more with lowered voice he ask, "What's with Rezna's, and why is there a Child o Light trin ta get inta a Sedai dinner party."

Demonder nods silently. He mutters to Rennar, "... well... during... the White Tower... we... not do... your..."

Caenna contnues to regard the tableau at the door, lifting her glass to her mouth absently.

Einone being near the end of things she notices the problem at the door, carefully keeping her features calm

Rio looks at Caenna and follows her gaze to the door. Her eyes widen a little thoughtfully. Then she sighs and leans over to Kellian. "It seems your prediction came true. They are among us."

Maricca looks up to the door and sees the Children, she leans to her husband and whispers, then sips at her wine and watches.

Alwyne studies the tableu near the door, her expression unreadable.

Raziah frowns just slightly behind her viel, as she regards botht e Children, and the Illianer that have entered the Hall, but she regains her composure, and seemingly ignores the situiation. She mutters to Einone, "Try not... much... fine."

Rezna nods as he hears his wife's words. "I trust you can cool matters down should they heat beyond control?"

Kahlil stands near the entrance, behind the Children, waiting for some sort of resolution before he is announced.

Lorewyr nods his head, "Yes, I would bar passage to the Lord Captain Commander, especially if I was not told of his invitation to the party. Since you were not on the list I was given, I cannot allow you to enter." he stays right in front to Emrich, puffing up as much as he is able, "I'm sorry, but if you have a message, I will deliver it, but I cannot let you pass."

Rennar glances and looks rather bluntly at Demonder, 'I moved out a week later.' Again, another shiver passes over her. Her conversation could be directed toward a great many topics. She mutters to Demonder, "It would... he'd... everything... I... uncle... killed... kidnapped..." With her last words spoken, she reaches out and gently squeezes Demonder's hand, as though to show him she didn't mean her words. For the time being, she appears to be ingoring Emrich's entrance, took engrossed in her current conversation.

Einone nods to Raziah and tries to focus on her drink, peering out the corner of her large eyes at the whitecloak

The palace servents begin to filter in among the finely set tables of the room. They bring platters of roast beef, roast pig and vegatables that are native to andor. Each of the perfectly cooked foods are presented to the guests so that they might select what they wish to take for their repast.

Caenna rises toher feet, holding her glass still. She pitches her voice to be heard. "Lord Commander Emrich, do you have a compelling reason for being here?"

Darya walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Verus walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Darya ooc :follows Emrich and looks insulted?

Aleksei walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Kellian begins to move,"I believe I should intercede," he looks to Theowyn, but stops the question when Caenna speaks.

Theowyn stands from his table, the chair pushing back against he floor. He straightens his coat before heading toward the door of the dining hall.

Demonder's hand comes across Rennar's shoulders, as he settles her into a slight hug. He mutters to Rennar, "... my love.... a girl,... over... Aislynn... no... of Andor."

Einone mutters to Raziah, "... place... up with..."

Lorewyr stands before Emrich, baring passage for all, even those rightful guest at the moment, behind him, the dinner is being served, and the people are talking, though mostly about the commotion at the door now.

Raziah shakes her head and look to Einone. She mutters to Einone, "... shame that... are... such... matter.... of..."

Verus carries his usual distinctive frown, which only increases when he is barred entrance. His casts an angered glance behind him, to the other Children, then returns to survey his gaze of the room, grimacing. He does not make any further move, however.

Darya tilts her and looks up at Emrich, held at the doorway with the rest of them.

A semi-short man in a white cloak enters through the arched doorway with two other people. He is held up by a herald at the doorway that wont allow him to pass.

Darya mutters to Emrich, "... those real..."

Rio sighs as yet MORE whitecloaks show up at the door. She picks up her wine and drinks a large amount of her. Her carefully planned dinner party is being ruined...all her friends at the tower will hear of it...oh the shame of it.

As if anyone here should not have been able to predict this was going to happen. Fool Sedai...They likely have no clue how much more harm they will do here then good.

Rennar gives Demonder a quieted look at his comment, and says nothing in response to his words. Instead, she rises from her seat, placing her napkin on the table. She glances briefly at those still seated, nods hastily to them, then starts to make her way for the door once more.

Demonder follows Rennar, much in the same manner, as he heads for the door.

Kahlil tries to catch the attention of someone on the other side of the guard.

The servents continue to serve the food to the guests, skillfully moving the platters of food among the guests. When the head table is served, Rio gazes into the platter of meat and sighs yet again. "And what happened to my vegatarian meal? The one that I had ordered specially for me?" She doesn't take any of the offered food. Instead she looks at the captain-general. "Oh...what is the use...perhaps we should let them in?" Rio is not pleased, not at all.

Kellian goes with Theowyn to the door to the Dining Hall.

It may not be Darya who'm Kahlil is trying to catch the attention of, but he does so marvelously and she just stares at him.

Einone motions for the beef but seruptitiously watches the goings on more than the food

Rennar continues to move toward the exit. She pauses briefly, eyeing the children of the Light, then continues to move through the doors, without so much as a good evening for Theowyn.

Theowyn stops a few feet away from Emrich and Lorewyr. He waits for Kellian to step to his side, before addressing the Children of the Light in a tone that would be of volume quiet enough for only those around the door to hear. "Lord Captain Commander. Forgive my surprise as your attempted entrance, if that is indeed your intention?"

Sev cheerfully helps himself to he beef dish as well.

Darya licks her lips as she watches people eat.

Demonder does actually spare a nod to the Prince, and then to Emrich. The ties of House Roesone to the Children are well known, after-all. He heads out through the door.

Sev spares a glance around the room as he does so,

Rennar walks through the white stone archway, to the east.

Rennar has left.

At the head table, Caenna watches the scene at the door quietly, her eyes remaining upon the Lord Captain Commader.

Maricca seems to just be toying with her food, her eyes rivited on the doorway as she watches the Children and the others there.

Darya tugs on Verus' robe and asks, She mutters to Verus, "... witches?"

Lorewyr looks over his shoulder at Theowyn, a bit of relief coming to his face someone with more authority comes to take over for him, but he continues to bar everyone from entering.

Verus raises an eyebrow, scowling at Theowyn. Attempted entrance? It sounds befitting of a crime rather than an endeavour. He remains his position, however, though his hand ocassionally slides down to where his sword would have been. His eyebrow raises further, and he turns to Darya with an annoyed glance. He merely nods to the servant.

Demonder walks through the white stone archway, to the east.

Demonder has left.

Sev mutters "If they interrupt this fine meal, I shall be less than amused."

Darya persists with her questioning, She mutters to Verus.

Raziah nods to the server with the Roasted Beef, and she daintily removes her veil, before she begins to give the impression of eating.

Einone mutters to Raziah, "... we... for... from..."

Captain Arctavius' frown grows deeper in annoyance as he again nods to Darya, "Yes, child," He mutters to the servant. His eyes scan the dinner table, and briefly widen as they pass over Rio Sedai. Though only for a moment - his frown levies the entire room.

Kellian looks at Emrich,"It has been a long time, Emrich. What brings you to the Palace?" Kellian was only a Captain in the Queen's Guard when these two met on the Road to Tar Valon. Captain General Kellian is being polite in tone, but his play with words might assume a fencing of sort.

Darya frowns and speaks again, this time looking up at Aleksi, "Why do those men have their swords but you couldn't keep yours?"

Rio drinks more of the wine as a new servent approaches with her large bowl of salad and places it before her. She drinks more of the wine as she watches the doorway. Briefly her eyes meet those of Captain Arctavius and she frowns back at him. No, Rio Sedai definately does not like the Whitecloaks.

Raziah nods the Einone while taking a small bite of the beef. It takes her a few moments to finish chewing and she whispers to Einone. She mutters to Einone, "... of... I... hoped... I had... false."

Einone nods as she starts eating, being very carefull of her manners

Darya eyes the food on the tables and mutters to no one in particular, "I'm hungry."

Maricca looks to Darya and her comment, she then motions to Kellian to speak to him, hoping he has seen her.

Einone down the bottom of the table sits near Raziah, along with the other accepted and novices, not in their usual whites her height, thiness and foreign dress makes her stand out slightly, every time she bends to murmer to raziah the silver bells in her hair chim softly

Kellian moves back to toward Maricca and looks at her politely.

Verus frowns, glancing askew at Rio again. He turns back to face Aleksei, wearing a sharp frown. He mutters something.

Caenna remains at the headtable and leans over to whisper to Rio quietly. They both look at the Children of Light that remain at the doorway. Rio gives Caenna a troubled look.

Maricca smiles as Kellian approaches She mutters to Kellian, "... young... you... her have... plate, I... not..." she waits for his reply.

Lorewyr continues to hold his ground, not letting such riff-raff in on his shift. At least not without permission.

Kahlil begins to grow somewhat impatient at the entrance, seeing as how food is now being served.

Darya must still be in her curious mood, caus she turns to one side and looks at Kahlil, "Who are you?"

The Lord Captain Commander levies a frown at Theowyn and Kellian, "We wish naught to cause trouble, friends," Despite his words, his face is as solid as rock, embedded with a frown. "We are unarmed. I do implore you to let us in." He gestures a hand towards the dining table, face still stoical.

Kellian smiles at Maricca,"We have plenty. But if you should wish to share yours with her, you are welcome to. Though I believe I can have some food provided for her and that group once they are admitted."

Kahlil glances at the young woman for a moment, but not to much longer. "I be the ambassador to Andor from Illian."

Darya tilts her head, "Where's that?"

Maricca nods to Kellian "I do hate to see anyone go unfed and would appreciate that Kellian." she looks to Darya and back to Kellian "Please let her in she can sit with me and my husband."

Kahlil turns back to the woman, a thrown a little offguard. "To the south, on the Sea of Storms."

The servents have completed their rounds with the main course and all of the silver trays have been removed to the kitchen. In the back corner, a trio consisting of a horn, a harp and a flute begin to play elegant music that lingers in the background. Delicate and lovely, it does not hamper the conversations that are taking place.

Darya bites her lip and nods, "Which way is south?"

Kahlil points toward the Servants' Wing. "That way, although Illian is quite a distance from here."

Einone finishes her meal, noting the tales about the Whitecloaks appear to be true she turns to Raziah 'Aye just as crude and puffed up as we here' she murmers

Kellian dropped A guardsman.

Rio digs into her salad and begins her dinner, as if determined to not allow the whitecloaks at the door nor the departing daughter-heir to dim her reunion with her friends and sisters from the white tower. She continues to speak to the distracted white sister at her side.

Kellian speaks to a Guardsman.

Darya nods and makes an 'o' with her mouth. "You must have arrived late. Did they take your sword too?"

Guardsman speaks to a Kellian.

Theowyn continues in a voice that's only audible by those directly near the door. "Generally one is either invited or requests an invitation. I would suggest, Lord Captain Commander, that arriving without notice could be considered impolite. The Queen herself would not simply enter a private engagement without prior request. And that is within her own nation."

Alwyne begins eating quietly, watching.

Kahlil shakes his head. "I did arrive late for the banquet, but I do no have a sword. That and I do live upstairs."

"The Children are not impolite, Captain-Guard." Emrich answers with a decided frown, "And I am not the Queen herself." Quite a pretentious fellow, hm?

Darya tilts her head at him and nods. "I live at the Farm."

Darya turns to Aleksei again, "Why can't you carry your sword?"

Kahlil smiles, but his eyes belie the false humor. "Illian be considerably farther than that."

Sev mutters to Alwyne, "Arriving like that,... us a..."

Einone bites her lip as she holds back some comments

The man near Darya in the whitecloak answers simple with a small frown. "I cannot."

The Guardsman approaches Darya and lets her know that Lady Maricca has invited her to sit at the head table. While this is rather odd protocol, none who might protest are free to voice their opinions at this time.

Rezna looks to his wife.

Lorewyr shakes his head, and starts glaring at Emrich, the audacity of the man. He'll not get past Lorewyr this night, if the young Herald has a say.

Raziah shakes her head, remaining quite composed while eating the last portion of her meal. She daintily wipes her lips with her napkin before replacing her veil over her lips.

Darya frowns, "It doesn't seem fair. You walk in the light." she turns to the Guard, "I can? Really?" she tugs on Emrich's shirt, "Come on. We have a seat."

Emrich looks down at Darya, smiling, and becoming somewhat flustered. He does manage to retain his frown when he levies his gaze back on the two breathing obstacles, however.

Einone mutters to Raziah, "... thoose puffed... me... pennance for... ten..."

Maricca looks to her husband "no darling but I will not see one so young go unfed with all the food here." she looks up and smiles to the girl.

Rezna decides to put a stop to all this. he gets up and walks over to prince theowyn...a man with whom he has dealt quite extensively in the past. He speaks quietly to the Prince

The man by the door way in the whitecloak leans over and whispers quietly into Verus's ear.

Verus cracks a smiling at something Leftenant Aleksei whispers into his ear. Chuckling, he shakes his head, hands clasped by his waist, looking down at the ground.

Raziah nods biting her lip. She mutters to Einone, "... do... I wish that... would... become uncomfortable."

Rezna whispers "Let us end this debate now so all can enjoy their food. If Lord Captain Emrich needs an invitation...I will supply it to him and the young lady he brings along at my wife's request. The rest...can wait outside for leftovers. that sound fair to you?""

"Would you not agree that a request for invitation would be more appropriate?" Theowyn asks Emrich, and then turns to Kellian. The Prince's tone is more the calm, though far more serious then typical.

Caenna leans over and speaks to Rio quietly again. The gray sister stares at her for a moment and then tiredly rises to her feet and makes her way to the door herself.

Maricca watches her husband leave, she is a bit puzzled but is more concerned for the young one. She motions a servant to bring another chair and place it next to her and another plate of food.

Sev begins to look a bit impatient. "Surely, Your Highness, if they come seeking alms, they might be given something to eat, and yet, it were basely done to make demands of Her Majesty's own home? "

The man in the doorway agian leans to Verus's ear. He gaze roams the room as he does so.

Emrich's frown grows deeper, almost rivaling that of Verus - but not quite. "Then do so, Captain-Guard." He wrings his hands, "This hindrance is annoying myself. Either ask or leave me be to enter as I please." His gaze shifts to Rio, frown holding.

Einone glances at the laughing whitecloak and says voice a more normal tone 'Sounding and acting like a group of braying donkies'

Rio speaks quietly to Kellian and to Theowyn, "Caenna Sedai has requested that the Wh...uh..Children of Light be invited to the party at her request. Since she is our guest...why don't we honor her wishes?" Her voice is quiet enough that it doesn't carry far.

Darya frowns slightly and looks at the woman who invited her and back to Emrich.

Verus casts a venemous glance at the grey sister, though he retains his stance.

Alwyne pauses in her eating a glances up at Rio. Her face is smooth, but her eyes are almost...incredulous.

Kellian has returned to Theowyn's side,"Lord Captain Commander, you wish to join our dinner party, correct?" He hears Rio's request, and was moving in that direction actually,"You and a handful of your people are welcome to join us. Perhaps you can discuss that treaty with the White Tower that you and I spoke about so long ago?"

Darya bounces quietly, "Waiting to be let in."

Alwyne turns her attention back to her plate.

Raziah gasps an hushes at Einone, though not in an entirely serious tone. "You musn't let them get the best of you, Einone," she whispers.

"Perhaps," The Lord Captain Commander merely offers, already moving past him, and motioning a gesture for the other Children to join him. Captain Arctavius follows, still scowling.

The man near Verus stands waiting with his back straight and his hands clasped behind his back as he watches the preceedings.

"An interesting request," Theowyn states rather vocally to Rio's request. "They have their invitation then." And with that, he steps away, seemingly satisfied.

Rio glances back at Caenna at the head table. Then turns to the LLC, "Perhaps you might join us at the head table, Emrich?" She nods to Kellian. Rio Sedai is not happy, but her face has taken on that compossed controled look that all Aes Sedai seem to take to naturally.

Einone hadn't quite said it as loud as she wanted to but nods to raziah 'Aye, just never seen such a lot of armoured bullie in me life' she murmers

Sev looks to Alwyne. "Now, this is absolutely *criminal.* And begins to eat.

Darya slips her hand into Emrich's and smiles broadly.

Alwyne appears not to hear Sev, her attention divided between her Sisters and her dinner.

Sev glances up and sees the Whitecloaks seem to have finally begged therir way in.

The man follows Emrich into the room his hands still behind his back his gaze studies the other seated around the vaious tables.

Maricca nods please that the Children will be allowd to eat, she looks to Darya and points to the place set for her.

Darya smiles and actually drops Emrich's hand and slips up onto the chair that Maricca points out to her, "Thank you, Miss."

Lorewyr with a small grunt of dissatisfaction, he steps out of the Whitecloaks way, "As you wish, Prince-Regent." he notices Kahlil, and clears his throat, booming once again in his deep, rich voice, "Ambassador Kahlil," as he turns facing the room again.

Kahlil nods to the herald and asks him quietly where he should sit.

Emrich nods with a smug grin to Rio Sedai, "I am sure our esplanade," It is noted he includes himself /and/ the other Children, "Would be honoured, Rio," He says the Witchh's name with a slight twist of his voice.

Verus finally speaks, still frowning, "It is a break with charity to disarm our esplanade." He offers up, to no one in particular.

Raziah looks up and nods polietly, looking towards the Illian Ambassador.

Lorewyr hmms, and points toward the table that Rezna is sitting at, "I believe a place was set for you at the second table there." He nods to Kahlil, "Sorry for the delay, and have a pleasant evening.

Raziah barely stiffles a giggle as she looks to Einone with a sparkle in her eyes as she seemingly forgets herself for a moment. She mutters to Einone, "But wouldn't it... it.."

Kahlil smiles graciously. "I do believe that did be out of your control. Thank you for your courtesy." He leaves the entrance and crosses over to the second table.

Maricca smiles to Darya "what is your name child?" she pushes the plate nearer the girl. "you may call me Maricca."

Darya pauses, swallowing her mouthfull before answering, "Darya. Thank you, Maricca, ma'am."

A soft giggle escapes her lips for an instant before she comports herself, nodding and mumering back to raziah

Verus raises an eyebrow slightly, upon hearing Marrica's name, but it is gone as soon as it happens. Hislips compress, gazing over at Rio.

Rio sighs as she prepares to return to the head table, Caenna and Emrich have gone off to one side to speak to one another. Rio shakes her head and then looks at Verus, "Perhaps in the spirit of the evening you would like to join me at the head table, Verus. I remember from my last trip to Tar Valon that we had a few conversations that were pleasant enough."

Raziah nods in agreement with Einone, "I'm quite sure it would."

Darya looks up at Maricca, "Can Emrich sit with us too, Maricca, Ma'am."

Verus nods, managing a smile that never quite touches his eyes. "Of course, Rio Sedai." He falls in step with the Witch, looking none the happiest.

Maricca nods "I do not mind Darya, he is welcome to join us." she looks again at the girl "how old are you?"

Raziah hurries through the white stone archway, to the east.

Raziah has left.

Sev , never one to have much of a bad thought for anyone, seems to resent the intrusion of the Whitecloaks for raising a stink at the door, as he sees it.

Kahlil seats himself with the other ambassadors, introducing himself to Rezna as the Illianer ambassador.

The man a pace behind Emrich watches as Verus departs with the Tar Valon Witch. Aleksei has resided to seemingly following Emrich around.

Rio makes her way to the head table and motions for one of the servents to set another place near her. She lifts her wine and drinks again, hopefully to get her through the evening.

Theowyn takes his place back at the head of the table, still looking almost amused. Almost.

Darya smiles, "Emrich, sir, Maricca, Ma'am, says you can sit with us." she smiles and waves him over, "I'm 19, Ma'am."

Verus sits himself at the table, taking on prim and proper manners, reflecting the status of his niveous cloak. He motions, frowning, to a maidservant to deliver a cup of chilled wine.

Alwyne wanders off elsewhere for a while.

Alwyne has left.

Lorewyr settles back to continue to do his job.

Emrich makes his was back into the dining room after his talk with Caenna, and he nods towards Darya. "Thank you Darya." He seems a bit miffed still. His glance roams around to the faces around the table, considering each.

A pair of servents approach the head table and offer Verus his choice of the main course and of the drinks. Waiting for his selection.

Rezna comes back to the table not far behind the Illianer. After seating himself...he looks the man over for a moment. "Good evening...You must be Kahlil." The ambassador offers his hand.

The man in the snow-white cloak follows Emrich to the table keeping a respectable pace behind him. Once seated Aleksei takes up his station standing to the right side of Emrichs chair.

Verus, not the one for elegance or grandeur, choses a starch poultry dish, with some red wine. Sipping it lightly, he turns his sharp gaze - no longer a frown, but not quite neutral - to Rio.

Kahlil nods. "It be strange that we have both been here so long with no meeting. Be this lovely woman your wife?" He motions to Maricca.

Kellian remains by the door for a moment, observing all the movements before making his own. Like a chess player given the opportunity to see what his opponent is planning before making his own moves.

Rio sips more of her wine, "How do you find your dinner?" the woman finally ventures to her new guest.

Rezna nods. "That she is." He smiles that annoying little smile of his. "So tell me then ambassador...Those rumors about Illian and Murandy in cahouts...Do they be true?"

Maricca looks up after hearing her name and nods. She looks to Kahlil "You are sir, I am sorry I was a bit occupied with Darya."

Darya smiles at Emrich and keeps stuffing her mouth. she's not underfed, but rarely does she get fare as fine as this.

Kahlil smiles to Maricca, "Of course, my Lady. It be wonderful how charitable you be." He turns back to Rezna, his smile fading. "Of course no. That Illian would even contemplate that... it be contemptible."

Lorewyr shifts some, but remains standing by the door.

The musicans continue to play softly in the background, the harp and the flute in perfect harmoney with each other. More of the servents circulate through the tables of the guests, removing unwanted plates or offering more food as is required.

Verus takes his cutlery, slicing the chicken into seperate and individual food units. He chews it most covertly, then nods to Rio, offering in a neutral, but cold, tone, "It is well; My lauds to the chef."

Making his way over to Darya, Maricca, and the small Cairheinian, Emrich inclines his head to all three. "I think I might go talk with the Prince a moment before, if he will be so inclined to 'bear' my presence for a moment." He glances towards the direction of Theowyn.

Rezna cannot resist asking. "How did that rumor get started then? Do you know?"

Kahlil shrugs slightly. "I do no know, although I did speak with the First Prince and the Captain-General, and they did promise to look into it." He glances at both of the men he has mentioned, his eyes flaring for a moment as he looks at Kellian.

Maricca nods to Emrich and speaks softly "I see you seem to lead the Children sir, you name is?" she smiles "I am Lady Maricca and this is my husband Rezna, the Ambassador."

Rio pokes at her salad, being a tuatha'an by birth, she holds to their vegatarian ways and forsakes meat. When she speaks her voice is equally cool to Verus. "I shall pass on your regards to the chefs then." Then she looks at her food once more.

Verus takes another slice of chicken, chewing it politely. He then remarks, offhandedly, in between sips of wine, "Amazing. We had possessed quite a number of strange crystals. They were all stolen, however." He offers a slight shrug, as if talking of the weather! He glances sidelong to Rio, taking another bite of chicken.

Einone keeps her glare off the whitecloaks as she talsk quietly to the Accepteds at the tables

Rio chokes on her lettuce. Then she puts down her fork and takes a drink of water. Turning to Verus, she looks at him for a long moment. "Is that so? How interesting."

Theowyn sits back on his seat, still a touch confused over the matter as he looks to Rio. "Interesting. And I thought some Andorans frowned upon any pack between the Children and the Queen..." his voice trails in thought, as he continues to eat. He gives Venus a hint of an eye.

Venus=Verus

Rio nods to the First Prince, "Yes, there are those that do frown upon it, but in the interest of Peace, even the lion might dine with the lamb, instead of upon it."

Emrich makes his way around the table to Theowyn, and he inclines his head to the First Prince. "First Prince Theowyn," he intones formally. "Is this seat taken?" He gestures towards a seat that seems just to have been emptied.

Verus gives a wry quirk of his lips into a small smile. "Are you alright, Rio Sedai?" He asks, feigning concern, eyebrows raised. He quickly casts a sharp glance to the First-Prince.

Maricca as Emrich walks away Maricca looks to Darya "what was his name Darya? He seemed to have not heard my question but does look as though he has much on his mind." she sips a bit of her wine.

The man following Emrich looks from Verus to Rio a small smile comes to his mouth, quickly vanishing. He glances to Theowyn still following Emrich.

Einone sits down the end of the tables away from most of the interest

Darya smiles, "Emrich. He's the Lord Captain Commander."

Verus turns to Emrich, quickly saluting him - thumping his hand to his heart. "My Lord Captain Commander." He remains seated, however, still looking sidelong at Rio.

Rio sips more of her water and nods to Verus. "I am well, Verus. Thank you." The words come out grudingly.

"As Queen Aislynn wished." Theowyn agrees, though still noting some wonderment. "It seems to have been emptied." Though the First Prince is not particularly warm, he is far from unwelcoming. "I grow curious of this invitation from Caenna Sedai that you have had. I wish I was told earlier."

Maricca nods to Darya "I see. Tell me what do you do with the Children and why do you seem so hungry, are you short on food?"

Darya shakes her head, "No, I just missed the meal today. So he brought me with him here because there would be food. I'm a servant, Ma'am."

Verus gives another self-indulgent smile to Rio, turning to Emrich again, "I was just informing Rio Sedai of our unfortunate tragedy. You recall, all our crystals being stolen." He places emphasis on 'all', shaking his head, "Pity; none were recovered."

Rio shakes her head at the First Prince, "They did not have a previous invitation, Theowyn. Caenna simply thought that it would make things more..peaceful if we allowed them in. It seems that she has met Emrich before. I do not know all the details however." She pauses as Verus speaks and then nods to both him and the first prince, "When were they stolen? This is the first that I've heard of your...plight."

Emrich takes his seat, his armor jingling softly as he sits. "Thank you Prince Theowyn." See, he can be generous. He looks curiously at the Prince when he asks about the invitation from Caenna. "Why, Prince Theowyn, Caenna Sedai just wished to make sure that all parties were represented here at this dinner. After all, the Children are a force in Andor, no?"

Sev glances up. "A pity representation wasn't an issue, Lord Captain."

Cronus walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Mil'Ambar walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Verus offers a small shrug, pausing to take a sip of wine before answering Rio, "About a week past. And before that -- another one..." He snaps a finger, frowning in thought, "Some street wretch tried to rob us of another." He gives a small chuckle, "She did have quite an amusing story to tell."

"Next time, Lord Captain Commander, you will message me in advance if you wish entrance to an occassion held within the Palace." Theowyn states flatly, his tone changing a hint. "And you will respect the wishes of the Palace as to whether it is accepted or denied. Banging at the doors is not appropriate in Andor. Even a message from the gates of the Palace would have been acceptable." With that said, he sneaks a look to Sev before going on. "That is, I would see no reason to deny your entrance to this event at the request of our guests. You are welcomed." Theowyn nods Rio, and goes on. "So you have met Caenna Sedai in the past?"

Mil'Ambar enters the room silently, literally, given his leather boots and training. Just inside the door he looks around as if searching for his prey. The frown a constant feature on his face. He takes no pains to hide himself from view of anyone.

Rio picks at her salad again and shakes her head. "An amusing story did you say? What about?" The gray sister's voice is very forced as she continues to talk with the Child at her side, but she remains polite.

Kahlil takes a plate with beef from a servant and begins to eat.

Sev fixes his gaze on the newcomer. Gripping a flagon of wine, he raises it to his lips briefly, as he glances about the rafters and returns to look at the man with the longbow.

Cronus enters glancing about the room, nodding repectfully here and there. Piecing together the scene and to where he should best head. Entering in the formal attire of the Queen's guard and nearly all white cloathing that seems to accent the red lion on his tunic. As his eyes glance over the whitecloak he blinks and seems to be waiting as to understand the situation more before recalculating his earlier directions. He gives a polite nod that varies appropriately to each who are on the receiving in and looking his way.

Maricca takes a bit of her food, her Emerald eye scan the room. She frowns seeing her other guard. Maricca turns to Darya "Do you enjoy your work there?"

Lorewyr gazes at Mil'Ambar, and frowns, saying softly to the man, as Lorewyr was positioned right inside the door, "Can I help you?"

Verus again offers a smile, yet continuing to glance sharply at Rio, as if he possessed some exterior knowledge. "Oh, nothing of importance. Children do make up the wildest of stories."

Rezna gets up and goes to Lorewyr. He speaks quietly to the man.

Darya nods, "Yes, Ma'am. They keep me fed and clothed and give me a place to sleep and forgive me for having parents that were Darkfriends."

Kahlil keeps his face composed at hearing Darya's statement, although it seems somewhat shocking. "What do you do as the Children's servant?"

Maricca looks sadly to the girl "You cannot help what your parents where and I am so very glad they were kind enough to help you." she looks to the door and frowns again as her husband goes to her guard.

Verus nearly chokes on his chicken, as well, hearing 'darkfriend' in Darya's conversation. A word not to be lightly tossed around.

Mil'Ambar catches sight of Rezna approaching almost immediately after the man begins moving. He doesn't answer Lorewyr with anything other than that hard, intense disapproving gaze he has. As Rezna approaches, a slight nod is given in the direction of the ambassador, and then Mil'Ambar goes back to disapproving of Lorewyr as the Herald and Rezna speak.

Emrich nods at the Prince's words. "Indeed, I could have gave some advance notice of our arrival Prince Theowyn." Emrich's smile takes in the man, though it isn't sincere. "But seeing as how the Palace is so..stringent on whom they dole out their invitations too, you can see why I take matters into my own hands, no?" He holds up his hand to forstall any argument for the moment. "But I will take your advice to heart, Prince. And as for your question, indeed, I have met Caenna Sedai in the past."

Darya tilts her head at Kahlil, "I serve meals and wash things and things like that. Same thing most servants do. And Emrich is going to teach me to read and write!"

Einone has left.

Kahlil nods, taking a bite of beef. "I do see. You can no read now?"

Maricca sips at her wine and listen to the girl chat.

Darya shakes her head, "No, sir. My parents never taught me."

Lorewyr nods at Rezna, then at Mil'Abar, "Sorry to disturb you."

Kahlil nods again. "Does the Lord Captain Commander ask for anything in return for his teaching?"

Rio sips at her wine and also notes the entrance of Maricca's second bodyguard, Mil'Ambar. She eyes him with some curiousity before her attention is taken back again to the conversation at the head table.

Maricca looks a bit surprised at Kahlil's question and wonders what he is getting to. The girl is a servant afterall and some people do acts of kindness.

"Really?" Theowyn comments to the first part of Emrich's statement. "A matter that will require addressing. In truth, I'd not think you would be welcomed among our guests. The Tower and Children traditionally have not made good counter-parts within the same room." Theowyn shrugs. "Though seeing as there is no issue, I have none. Andor and the Children know where they stand, I need no comment."

Darya tilts her head, "No. WHy?"

Mil'Ambar nods to Lorewyr as if he would have done anything but and falls quickly into step with the Ambassador from Cairhien.

Rezna give Mil a curt nod and then proceeds to retake his seat. That is that

Kahlil shakes his head absently as he sips his wine. "No reason, particularly. Just wondering at how the Children and many other people be quite different. That be quite generous of him."

Mil'Ambar nods to Lorewyr, as if he would have done anything but, and falls quickly into step with the Ambassador from Cairhien. (OOC: Re-edit so I didn't cringe so much at my punctuation.)

Cronus decides to move to stand near the head table, taking up the traditional guard stance near the main table and placing his hands behind his back. Eyes constantly sweeping the area, and more times than not fall back to Kellian, Theowyn, or Rio to see if they are in need of his services. But for the most part he let's himself fade off, nothing about him indicates a sense of discomfort, as he is well practiced in not making others nervous when he watches over such functions... unless of course you have reason to be nervous due to his presence.

Maricca groans as she watches her husband bring her guard over to their table. Looking to Rezna "Is *he* really necessary here?" in reference to the guard she so dislikes.

Darya nods, "He is very kind to me. And he keeps the men from picking on me. Some of them like to call me names. But if I tell him, he tells them to be nice." she doesn't seem to be 'all there' perhaps a bit of a dollard in truth, but only a bit. Naieve is perhaps closer to the truth.

Kahlil smiles and continues eating. "That _does_ be generous of him, then."

Verus takes another sip of wine, offering to Rio, "Well, men willingly believe what they wish, yes? Of course, the child's table was too absurd to be believed." He chuckles, muttering under his breath something about 'Aes Sedai' and 'Hired'. "But..." The words die on his tongue, as a lower-ranked Child comes to his side, whispering something in his ear. Evry moment, his frown grows deeper and deeper. He takes his napkin, wiping his mouth, "So it is." He comments to the man. Turning to Rio, he says in a flat tone, "I have pressing matters to attend to; perhaps we shall meet again?" Something in heris tone indicates more than a possibility.

Emrich inclines his head again to the Prince. "You know exactly how to cut to the chase, Prince Theowyn. That I admire in a man." Looking for an ale that doesn't seem to be there, and not catching what Darya is saying, he shrugs. "The Children only mean to protect Caemlyn, and Andor, as they may Prince. That Oath I swore to your sister proves my sincerity in that."

Mil'Ambar takes up a position against the wall behind the Ambassador from Cairhien and his wife, close enough to be heard if he speaks, or to listen if they wish to tell him seomthing. He cracks his mouth the tiniest fraction, the closest he ever gets to a smile. "Don't like the company tonight, Madame Ambassador?" His frown retakes its customary position as he notes all of the important personages in the room, including the Whitecloaks, and the Aes Sedai. "I can't imagine why." He says dryly.

Rio nods to Child at her side. "I believe that could be arranged for some future date. Peace be upon you, Verus."

Maricca turns to her guard and smiles sweetly "The company was fine until just a few moments ago Mil" she returns her attention to her food and the young one next to her.

Kahlil nods to Rezna as he returns to the table.

Mil'Ambar says "Mil'Ambar," as he corrects the ambassador's wife."

Darya tilts her head, "That sounds like a name of some cooked meat. Mil'Ambar."

Verus pushes out his chair, standing. He salutes the Lord Captain Commander, whispering something in his ear, then offers a small, polite bow to Rio Sedai, smiling insidiously. "Walk in the Light, Rio Sedai." He says, though by the way of his tone, it seems more of an order than a departing bless. He also nods, frowning, to the First-Prince, before executing an about-face and walks out, his white cloak flowing behind him dramatically.

Theowyn sweeps the glass of wine from the table and turns more toward Emrich. "Forgive my rudeness, I did mistake and not welcome you back to Andor. I trust your trip was a safe one?" he asks, this time sounding more genuin. Emrich was the focal point of setting the alliance, after-all.

Cronus glances about the room, eyes falling on a lower ranking guard and with a motion of his head to Verus. He seems to convey a silent order to make sure the man makes it out the palace without incident.

Maricca sighs "I am sorry Mil"ambar, I think I am growing tired and was not thinking." she is actually being sweet, enjoy it while you can.

There is his wine. Emrich picks it up and takes a small drink, and he sets it back down carefully. "As safe as can be expected, Prince Theowyn. My reception in Tar Valon was less then warm, but that is to expected, no?" Glancing at Rio as he says this, his gaze then sweeps back to Theowyn. "It seems my predecessor left some scars behind that I am hard pressed to fix."

Verus has left.

Lorewyr continues to stand at the door, this time emparting the Queen's thanks for attending, though he with-holds such blessing from the Whitecloaks. Scowling sullenly at them.

Mil'Ambar grunts non-committally to Darya, and turns towards her. It's about time he begins to pay attention to those within the city, now that he's spent 6 full days exploring every facet of the city and its surroundings. His face, with its black obsidian eyes and heavy demeanor is like death, and the voice that comes out is the chill that comes with death. Though he /does/ try to be pleasant, he just can't help his generally miserable personality, "And who might you be?"

Kellian finally, satisfied with the security of the room, moves to the table with Theo and Rio and the others. He retakes his seat and trys to catch up on the coversations they are engaged in.

Darya yawns and answers, "Darya."

Rio frowns at Emrich when he mentions Tar Valon and suddenly grows more interested in her salad and wine.

Maricca smiles to her guard "She is my guest Mil"ambar, she was hungry and I made sure she was going to be fed." her voice controled.

"Indeed?" Theowyn attempts to hold a surprise in his tone, though purely fails. He continues on the meal. "It is not easy to change perceptions, though I have sympathy for your position." If Theowyn only knew half of it.

Mil'Ambar turns back to Maricca, "Your guest?" He does put on a smile now, though anyone who would consider it anywhere near a real smile is a fool. It seems like poison on his face, ready to strike its intended victim at any moment. After a long while of evaluating Maricca, he looks over to the Lord Captain Commander of the Children of the Light. A slight hmm comes from his throat as that liquid smile drains from his face, and he seems to make a mental note to himself. He'll be wanting to speak with Maricca later about Darya and her 'acquaintance' with the woman.

Emrich does turn fully towards Rio now, and he looks at her curiously. "For both the Prince's and mine enlightment, Aes Sedai, what is your opinion on the Children of the Light?"

Kahlil turns to look at Mil'Ambar, who is apparently going to be staying near the table. "He be your guard, Lady Maricca?" he asks.

Maricca finishes her meal and turns to her husband "Darling I wish to retire, I shall have Mil"ambar make sure I am safe then send him back down to you." she looks to her guard and nods as she rises. She nots to Kahlil "yes he is one of them, my other guard left earlier." she smiles "It has been a pleasure but I must get some rest."

Mil'Ambar frowns. Uh-oh. He wants to talk with Maricca, but he doesn't really care to miss out on what might be overheard in this room. Whatever shall he do?

Kahlil stands as the lady does, politely. "But of course, my Lady. I will look forward to when we do meet again."

Maricca gives her husband a kiss on the cheek and then turns to her guard. "Shall we go Mil'Ambar?" she heads toward the door.

Kahlil is afk for a moment as he lets his dog inside.

Rio stabs at her dinner and then drops the fork. She turns to Emrich cooly, "I think that they are more trouble than most might expect. Lord. Captain. Commander." She stares the man in the face, her normally dove gray eyes darkening to charcoal. But her words are smooth and still somewhat controled. No...this has not been a good evening for the gray sister.

Maricca walks through the white stone archway, to the east.

Maricca has left.

Kellian looks over at Emrich,"And how is the treaty with the White Tower proceeding Emrich. Inarin was very surprised when I discussed this idea of yours with him."

Mil'Ambar gives one frowning somber glance back towards the dinner party, and decides time enough later, now he'll go talk with Maricca. But isn't he supposed to be her guard anyway? How could he even consider remaining at the party?

With one last respectful nod to Rezna, he heads out after Maricca.

Theowyn settles contently and watches Emrich answer his bother's question.

Mil'Ambar walks through the white stone archway, to the east.

Mil'Ambar has left.

Rezna waves to his wife belatedly

Kahlil turns to Rezna. "Does she often retire earlier than others?"

Methos walks into the Dining Hall from the Entry Hall to the east.

Emrich swings his gaze to Theowyn once again, and the expression on his face saying, "See what I mean?" But he simply says, "Yes, Prince Theowyn. Some scars are far too deep to heal, as the Aes Sedai proves." Emrich turns his attention to Kellian, and he examines the man closely before answering. "Alas, Captain.." he smiles falsly, "it is Captain-General now, isn't it? Captain-General Kellian, such hopes I had on my part fell by the wayside, unfortunatly. It seems the world is not ready for such a treaty. Or I am just a fool to believe it possible." He smiles again, knowing full well what most think. "But perhaps he who follows in my footsteps might be able to succeed where I have not." His tone doesn't show much hope for this, though.

Lorewyr starts to bar Methos' passage, but notices the man's gear, and steps aside. The young herald not about to bar the way of one of the Queen's guards.

Rezna nods to the ambassador from Illian. "She gets tired during official functions...easily I am sorry to say."

Theowyn leans over to Emrich, the warder looking more like a child in an odd state of curiousity. That sensation is very brief. He mutters to Emrich, "... not... with the... claiming that... for... rather then... shadows?"

Emrich senses "Theowyn leans over to Emrich, the warder looking more like a child in an odd state of curiousity. That sensation is very brief. "Lord Captain Commander, if you do not mind me asking, but suggesting a treaty with the Tower... are you, at least unofficially, claiming that the White Tower stands for the side of the Light, rather then the shadows?""

Methos enters, and raises an eyebrow slightly at Lorewyr's actions. "I am of no danger, sir." He looks over the room and makes his way over near Cronus.

The servents enter the room and begin to clear away the tables of plates and cutlery. Then another wave of servents bring in the desertplates and forks. With much fanfare, a large cake in the shape of the white tower is brought out on a wheeled cart. After all have had a look at the masterpiece, it is cut into and pieces are distributed. With the white icing is red velvet cake, the colors of andor and the shape of the white tower, merged into one.

Kellian nods as he stands. "I must take my leave now." He touches Rio's shoulder briefly. He bows his head to his brother,"If you will excuse me, Theowyn."

Kahlil shakes his head slowly and somewhat mournfully. "That does be a shame, does it no?"

Rio nods to Kellian with an understanding nod. "Peace be upon you Kellian."

Kellian will take his leave then. The business of running the army doesn't wait on dessert.

Theowyn nods to Kellian. "Peace favor, brother."

Emrich nods towards the departing Kellian. But his attention is back on Theowyn and at what he says. He mutters to Theowyn, "... be called between... be... this... the... have ears, Prince... to worry..." Having said that with another hallow smile, he looks again at Rio. "If I get my guess right, and I usually do, you would be Rio Sedai, Advisor to the Queen." His eyes grow intent as he talks with the woman. "And a long time friend of Andor."

You sense Emrich nods towards the departing Kellian. But his attention is back on Theowyn and at what he says. "Perhaps a meeting to be called between us would be best to discuss this topic, no? For even the walls have ears, Prince Theowyn. But I'd rather not have to worry about dinner guests as well." Having said that with another hallow smile, he looks again at Rio. "If I get my guess right, and I usually do, you would be Rio Sedai, Advisor to the Queen." His eyes grow intent as he talks with the woman. "And a long time friend of Andor."

Rezna cocks his head to the side. "I suppose so. You would prefer she had stayed?"

Kellian smiles,"Peace favor you, as well, Theowyn," then to Rio,"Peace keep you, Rio." A reference perhaps to the worry of late about safety in the palace. Then he turns, finally to Emrich and nods. Then leaves.

Kellian walks through the white stone archway, to the east.

Kellian has left.

Cronus notes Methos's entrance and leaves his spot and moving to the man with care not to draw attention. He mutters to Methos, "You... in... guardsman."

Kahlil shrugs. "I do no know. After all, I have barely met either of you. However, it does mean she will miss the rest of the night's activity."

Rio nods to Emrich. "I am all of those things, yes." She is still cool however, "How is it a question, did you not...escort me during my last trip to Tar Valon?" Rio watches Kellian leave and seems sorry to see him go, for now all she has are whitecloaks to speak to. She turns back to the Child, "I, at least, remember that well."

Theowyn seemed to get an answer he expected, though still he hints of curiousity at that. Settling back in his chair, he sips at his wine. "Well, it is time for me to take my leave for the evening as well." With that spoken, he begins to rise. For those guests, he offers a nod. "Rio," he inclines his head last to her, looking almost sympathetic.

Lorewyr looks over at Cronus, and Methos, giving them a little wave, not wanting to abandon his post.

Emrich rubs his chin, which looks to be freshly shaved. As the memory comes back to him, surprisingly enough that it ever left, he nods. "Of course. That fated trip to Tar Valon...and you were the Aes Sedai who seemed to want to give me so much trouble." He chuckles, but there is no warmth in it. "And it seems you have not changed." As the Prince stands, Emrich quickly does as well. "Light shine, Prince Theowyn. I would like to here from you soon."

Cronus arcs a brow at Lorewyr, and scans the room and moves to the door. If this man says he shouldn't be hear there will be some talking to do. But he does not move till he gets a response from Methos, in some form or other.

Rio nods back to the Prince, "Peace be upon you, Theowyn." The gray sister seems tired and indeed, many of her guests are filtering out of the dining hall and finding their rooms for the evening. The party is winding down.

Lorewyr waits for both men to approach him, either bored, or just, well, probably bored.

Methos offers Lorewyr a nod, returning the acknowledgement. His icy eyes travel over the room, and he moves in the direction of the guardsman.

Rio rises to her feet as well, "I too am going to retire. Peace be upon you all." This includes the whitecloaks too, maybe they need reminders of peace after all.
