Summary:During most of the log, Theowyn and Cronus discuss their differences in the matter of Cronus leaving the Queen's Guard. Both enter the noble sitting room after their conversation to meet with the others.

The First Prince is sitting at the chair near the fireplace. The heat of the summer day is felt through the open windows, and as he studies the passages of the book he reads, the servant would allow Cronus past the guards at the door. Theowyn's gaze casually lifts upwards. "Lt.," he nods his head, rather informally as he leans back on his chair. "Please, come in."

Cronus bows fist to heart, "My prince," he keeps his eyes down for the time despite his friendship with the man as if unsure of the situation, "I am sorry for leaving the guard the way I did, sir."

"You did what you thought was best," is Theowyn's simple reply, no hint of thought in either direction showing in his voice, though he does watches Cronus from the distance. "Matters could have been handled better, Lt. You are furtunate my brother returned both position and rank to you, I would not have been as kind. If you wish to parade about in secret as you have, then you could have done so after asking for my permission. Not before."

Cronus doesn't move fom his humbled position, "Yes my prince..." he pauses, "If a next time for such needs arise I will speak with you first."

"You are no commanded by Kellian," Theowyn expresses, managing a slight shrug. "Though you could share with me your reasoning. We have a history together, you and I. Why hide your intentions as you did, rather then following the chain of command as it exists within the Queen's Guard?"

no=now

Cleared.

Cronus raises his head now, "I did not know who Kellian was at the time sir, you know more of my background than any alive save maybe 2 others, and they are my family. Trust was the rarest commodity when I was growing up, and when my life may be threatened... it becomes almost extinct. I am sorry for the deception, but I hoped my parting words would state my true intentions sir, at least to you. And if you disapproved, I thought you would have stopped me or tried to give me a message in some form sir..."

"It was not my place to issue orders to a man that no longer served beneath," Theowyn responds, and then shakes his hand vaguely. "No matter, it is forgotten. Bitterness leads to no good, and speaking personally, I am glad to have you back."

Cronus lips curl in the slightest of smiles as a breathe seems to be let out a little easier than had it come earlier. "As I am glad to be back sir." Otherwise no emotions seems to show past his exterior. "How are matters going with the Kandory relations sir?"

"They go well," is Thowyn's simple response, seeming unwilling to share more at the moment beyond his next words. "Matters between nations are rarely easy."

Cronus nods with a slight smile, "Even on the personal front, my prince?" he seems to be getting at matters more closer to home but in an indirect matter...

"The matters of a personal nature do not exist without the nations involvement," Theowyn responds, his eyes coming to the pages of his book briefly. "One can not simply carry on as one wishes without a King or Queen interfering in the matter."

Cronus nods, and seems to be hesitant to the questions, and decides to let them lie for the time being as theo isn't forthcomeing, "Perhaps I should be back to my duties sir, unless there are other matters... my prince?"

Theowyn shakes his head. "No, I will be heading out myself," Theowyn reveals, closing the book shut and beginning to stand.

Cronus bows, his head, "As you wish sir, shall I attend you for the time being?" he seems in no hurry to get back to the paperwork on his desk...

"There is nothing specific that requires my attending, though certainly," Theowyn responds, setting the book down. He heads toward the doors of his chambers. "I truth it was not difficult to settle back into the ranks?"

Cronus smirks, "A little extra workload... but nothing I cannot manage... yet..." he says with a reluctant sigh, "Most of those that were under my command before are still under it now, so that makes it easier to come back sir."

"Indeed." Theowyn opens the door and steps into the sitting room.

You leave the room

Nobles' Sitting Room: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn(#746RLM$)

Rio shakes her head. "She is not unhappy all the time," Rio must be truthful after all. She gazes with some speculation at the child that approaches Renza.

Kellian glances at the plump Cairheinan, a brow raised.

Cronus comes out of Theowyn's room.

Cronus has arrived.

Rudra has arrived.

Rudra arrives with Cronus.

Rezna sees all the raised brow and turns around to find Ottis there staring him in the face. That plump little guy...those rosy cheecks...that wide smile missing one front tooth. To be honest...It scares Rezna and he jumps. "Ack! Stop doing that!"

The two Queen's Guards at Theowyn's door step away as the First Prince walks out with Cronus not far behind. "That is fortunate to hear. You were not gone long, after-all." As Theowyn's gaze settles on the sitting room, he shakes his head briefly. The first thing he seems to notice is Rezna and the boy. Amusement flashes briefly on his features.

Rio looks between the ambassador and the plump little man. Back and forth. Back and forth. Could there be a connection there that was not previously seen? Then she notes the arrival of the newcomers and inclines her head politely to them.

Cronus follows Theowyn out of the room and scans the occupants as he walks behind his Prince. A formal grace about his features now, with a nod to those about the room

Kellian is standing by the window. Rio near at hand. Both looking at Ottis and Rezna. Kellian nods at Theowyn,"Good Evening, brother."

Ottis Staggers. "I sorry Mr. Rezna. You told me I should stay around while you was working." He fumbles not at all comfortable in these types of settings. He hols in his hand a letter bearing the royal seal of Cairhien. Rezna eyes it for a long moment as if expecting the kid to hand it over. When he does not Rez feels the need to inquire. "What is that Ottis?"

Cronus whispers "It is sir, and I thank you for letting me return."

"Kellian, Rio," Theowyn greets each in turn with a slight smile, briefly shaking his head at Rezna. "Ambassador. You've made a friend?" he ponders lightly. Theowyn offers Cronus a reassuring nod.

Ottis takes a moment as if just now remembering he had it. "Oh yes! It's a...a...a message from Cairhien." Rezna cocks his head to the side. "Is it for me?" He looks to Kellian with an odd sigh. "I seem to be making them everywhere I go." or as no one noticed the veritable army of little Cairhienians which has followed him to Caemlyn?

Kellian smiles,"I will have to revise my opinion of your social skills Ambassador."

Cronus watches the scene that is developing before him, quite indescript as he remains at his Prince's side almost as an escorting position but bordering on the side of two friends communicating.

It takes Ottis a moment to answer= "Yeah boss. It's for you." Seems his mail has a new delivery address. Oh poor Cairhien. Rezna is clearly thinking this and is disturbed by the prospect. "Well then Ottis...Why am I not reading it?" Again, Ottis seems to be drawing a momentary blank.

Theowyn blinks a few times at Rezna, peering between Kellian and Rio. "Does this require an explination?" he ponders in a humoured tone. Theowyn does seem to find a certain amusement in Rezna's tortures.

Ottis finally puts forth a timid answer...as if suddenly realizing this whole travesty is his own fault. "Ah...Cause I haven't given it to you yet?"

Maricca enters the Palace Sitting Room from the Cairhienian Ambassador's Suite.

Maricca has arrived.

Rezna nods with a winning smile as he pats Ottis on the shoulder with one hand and extracts the note with the other. "Sharp as a tack." is all he says as he begins examining the letter. Seems Ottis takes that as a compliment. Not too good with sarcasm.

Rio shakes her head to the first prince in answer and then gives Maricca a pleasant nod as she arrives. Rio seems content to listen for now.

See what did I tell you? A veritable swarm of little followers...

Kellian nods and smiles at Maricca,"Ah, good evening, Maricca. Your husband was just expressing his displeasure at your absense from his side."

Rezna opens the letter and proceeds to begin reading it. "Displeasure was not exactly the word I used I believe..."

Maricca enters the Parlor from her room, she pauses and looks around smiling and nodding as is proper. She walks to a teacart and pours herself a cup. Hearing her name she turns and smiles "good evening Kellian." she looks a bit surprised and locates her huband "I was resting." she comments as she walks over to her dear loving husband.

Theowyn simply nods, unable to hold back a brief chuckle. He does incline his head lightly to Maricca.

Cronus manages to keep his exterior stolid although his eyes are alight with amusement at the moment. As his eyes survey the room. They pause momentarily on Rio before moving on. Then his eyes move to Rezna's and the number of gloves the man wears...

Kellian nods at Maricca,"Rest, when you can." he seems to be speaking to the room.

A man in the livery of the white tower comes up to the group and speaks briefly to Rio Sedai. She nods to him and as he departs she says to the group, "If you will all excuse me, I have matters to attend to elsewhere." With a polite nod of her head she follows after her servant.

Rezna nods in response to Kellian's words. His preoccupation with Ottis has caused him to miss the initial presence of the mut, but now that he does notice and it does not take him more than 30 seconds to haul those gloves up out of his pocket and put them on over his first pair. He looks to ottis. "From now on when you get something that vbelongs to me I want it brought to me without delay. Do you understand Ottis?" The pujjy man nods after a moment digesting that request

Rio walk softly into your Suite after a doorman in the livery of the Gray Ajah opens the door.

Rio has left.

Maricca nod to the others and stands beside her husband, she sips the tea she got and listens for a bit.. she is still a bit dazed from earlier.

From Nobles' Sitting Room: Royal Palace of Andor, Caemlyn, Kellian says " Idling for a few, need to take care of my pup :)"

Rezna sighs as he sets the letter aside...crumpling it up and throwing it into the fire. "Well Ottis it seems you are now officially my administrative assistant for one year. And there's not a damn thing I can do about it." Ottis seems pleased by that

Theowyn takes a step forward, nearer to Rezna. "Ambassador. You do surprise me," he notes, attempting to hide his amusement. "Is this assistant of yours safe? He would seem somewhat dangerous. I would not wish to send him home on accounts of bad faith in those that accompany you."

Maricca frowns, thinking another one to put up with. She must write the Queen and find out why she must continue to put up with this "Rezna, darling, why don't you introduce me to this gentleman?" she is looking at Ottis with distaste.

Cronus chokes down a chuckle, which is apparent to those near him more than likely... as he watches the rest of those about.

Poor Ottis. He is absolutely the densest most harmless looking person one could possibly encounter. QUite shy as well as it seems tall people he does not know are now talking about him. Rezna takes on the PRince's question. "I assure you, this man is harmless." He looks to Theowyn. "It is legal for Cairhienian's to take up residence in Andor is it not?"

Maricca groans and mutters softly to Theowyn "if is makes you feel better we can have Mil'Ambar guard this man during his stay." she is hopefull to rid herself of that fool guard.

Theowyn chuckles, shaking his head. "Only thought I would help," he responds, not knowing the strict conditions of Ottis' arrival into Caemlyn. "I sure he will be fine unguarded," he states next, peering with curiousity at Maricca.

Kellian listens quietly now.

Maricca frowns as she looks to Theowyn and glances to Kellian. She remains quiet and will find another way to rid herself of Mil.

Rezna nods. "Room allow me to present to you my new assistant. This is Ottis. Ottis, this is a room full of important people. Speak when spoken to." Ottis nods...and order he can follow for once without difficulty.

Kellian smiles and says softly,"Everyone is important, Ambassador."

"Welcome to Andor, Ottis," Theowyn greets with the slight incline of his head.

Maricca smiles politely to Ottis and comments "I am Lady Marrica, Rezna's wife." she comments using her title, one she does not like anyway. Her speech is sincere, almost.

Cronus stays remaining quiet for the time being watching over the room

Rezna smiles. "I think I am getting tired." He yawns to reinforce this point. "Does Andor have any business with Cairhien before I go?" As if said businees could be concluded in the 5 minutes before he goes to bed.

Rudra as moved over near the balcony and makes his way out and to any watching... down the stairs

Rudra walks leaves the sitting room and walks out onto the balcony.

Rudra has left.

Theowyn shakes his head lightly. "My thoughts exactly, Ambassador." With that, he nods to each in turn. "Perhaps it is time to turn in."

Maricca smiles to the others "I think I could do with some reading." she pauses "do any of you know of a local Scholar?" strange question.

Rezna smiles. Never let it be said that Andor is not at least partially in good hands. This Queen Aislynn he is still not by any means sure about, but Theo is a good guy. Rez gives everyone a good night nod and heads for his apartment. Or rather the apartments as it seems an entire army of little munchkins has taken up residence there.

Cronus watches Rez go off with a slight grin.

Kellian watches all this quietly.

"I hear Darius is here, or was?" Theowyn looks to Kellian for a possible aid in the answer.

Maricca nods "I have spoken to him and he.. well he said I needed someone to read Trolloc tongue." she offers little as to why she needs this.

Rezna stops short of entering as he hears that. He turns and glares suspiciously at his wife. So that's what's been wrong with her all this time. She's a trolloc.

"Trolloc?" Theowyn is visibly surprised by that. "I would say, I'd not know a person that would know a word of that."

Kellian nods,"Was."

Maricca nods "I see, well thank you anway." she turns and follows her dear husband to the suite."

Rezna enters the suite of the Cairnhein Ambassador and his wife.

Rezna has left.

Cronus pauses considering his face going blank at the revelation of trolloc but he speaks not, of yet.

Maricca enters the suite of the Cairnhein Ambassador and his wife.

Maricca has left.
