Triple H hyper extends knee; More on Russo, and WWF wanting more employees to lose weight
|
According to Dave Meltzer, Triple H is currently out of action with a bad knee. While practing the ladder bump with McMahon earlier on Sunday before their match at Armageddon, Triple H hyper extended his knee while climbing the ladder. Helmsley received an MRI before the 11/13 Raw show, and the WWF is hopeful that he will be ready for action for the December 26 house show, which is the next one on the schedule. Triple H spent hours icing his knee and getting electrical stimulation done after the hyper extention, and then wrapped the knee in a band and did the 30-minute match at the PPV. - Vince Russo is continuing to feel "handcuffed" by WCW's Standards and Practices division. As reported earlier, many are saying that it's due to Kevin Sullivan trying to maneuver himself to a position where he is trying to gain Bill Busch's trust, in which Busch starts losing confidence in Russo's recent doings. J.J. Dillon is also said to be siding with Sullivan in the dispute. Also, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WCW is currently going with the idea that the game is Russo's and they are giving him plenty of time to turn things around. That may all change, though, if Sullivan gains more favoritism, approval and trust on Busch's be-half. The Blue Meanie is not about to be released, however, he won't be brought back onto the TV scene until he loses some more weight. Paul Bearer, who was also asked to lose weight, had lost 47 pounds as of 3 weeks ago and has now lost close to 60. Paul isn't expected to return to WWF televising before the Undertaker and will most likely return with him instead.
