Powers That Be to be phased out of WCW programming as main heels

- Wade Keller reports that Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara will be phased out of their on-camera roles soon. Ed Ferrara has recently been playing the Oklahoma gimmick, which might soon be scrapped, because many WCW officials believe that the gimmick has run its course. If the gimmick is dropped, Steve Williams may possibly be shifted into the Varsity Club. Although Vince Russo recently stated on "WCW Live" that he will be phasing out the Powers That Be from television programs, some people inside the industry suspect he'll do a blow-off angle at an upcoming pay-per-view and show his face one time. Keller says that rather than the Powers That Be being the focus of WCW programming, the nWo will now be the central heel force in the company.
