News on Scott Hall's injury, Eddie Guerrero, Rick Steiner, and the Revolution

- Scott Hall has been telling many people that his knee injury is serious. Wade Keller reports that several witnesses say he was backstage at the December 21 Thunder taping icing down his knee and was said to be in noticeable pain.
- The apparent reason why Eddie Guerrero wasn't at Nitro last week is because he didn't receive his booking plans on time. Once WCW officials realized that he wasn't in Baltimore for the show, they called him home and asked him if he could catch the next flight out. Guerrero originally obliged, but he didn't arrive on time anyway in order to take part in the Filthy Animals angle.
- Management had originally booked Shane Douglas and the Revolution to lose a janitor's match to Jim Duggan and the Varsity Club at Starrcade, with them therefore ending up cleaning toilets in taped skits, but Douglas balked at the idea. Speaking of the Revolution, vignettes were filmed this last weekend in Washington, D.C. (the site of the Starrcade PPV) with them involved. In one skit, Saturn read "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" out to the Library of Congress.
- Rick Steiner didn't know that he was being grouped to team with the Varsity Club at Starrcade until he arrived at the MCI Center arena for the Starrcade event last week. Management asked him to draw bring back "Alex" (the face that was drawn on his hand), but he apparently refused.
