Lance Storm's latest online commentary

The following comes from Lance Storm's official website at www.stormwrestling.com:
Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and Santa was good to them. This past week ECW only had 1 show, but it was a busy and eventful week, none the less.
We wrestled in White plains NY on Thursday, and that morning before the show we taped stuff for the Hardcore Revolution video game commercial. To be there in time for the 10am shot most of us had to fly in the day before. Don Callis (Cyrus) and I were both scheduled for early flights Wednesday morning. Since Callis wasn't going to be in the commercial he managed to change his flight, and arrive Thursday afternoon, a fact he was sure to phone me about in order to rub my nose in it. (Callis and I, despite being very good friends, take great pleasure in each others discomfort.) Thursday would be the day that I learn, without a doubt that there is a God and he too is a ribber.
At about 6 am CST Thursday, Callis would embark on his day of travel to NY. He arrived in Minneapolis at 8am to discover that it was snowing, and flights were being delayed. After numerous cancelations and delays, he phoned me in NY to let me know, that he was coming but he would be late. He was worried about getting heat for being late and asked me to assure Paul that he was on his way. After several more delays and phone calls, and a layover that totalled 12 hours, he boards an 8 pm flight which arrives in White Plains at 11pm. I greet an out of breath Don Callis at the building at 11:30 pm. He is in time to catch part of the main event.
After soliciting a piece of gum, I inform him (incorrectly) that he has a ton of heat and should avoid everyone. Once the show is over I get a peek at the promo list and am elated by the fact, Callis isn't on it. For the rest of the evening Callis gets to sit around watching promos, while I constantly remind him that he travelled almost 18 hours for the sole purpose of bringing me gum.
That was the majority of the excitement this week. I got home on the 24th and get to relax now until I go back to work on Jan. 7th. I won't exactly be relaxing much as I will be at the gym everyday.
I'm also hoping to get some work done for the website. I got WinTV for my computer, so I hope to capture some good pictures from video. If I get some good ones I'll try to get them up some time soon. I'm also going to try to get some workout tips and perhaps a program put to paper, as I've had a ton of requests. I don't know how in depth I will get, but I'll try to get something up in a couple weeks.
I've just started a new book. "Darkfalls" by Dean Koontz. Once I get through it I'll give a quick review. I've got a lot of reading ahead of me the next couple months, as I got 3 new books for Christmas. One book by Ken Follet and a pair of new Dean Koontz books. I've read a few of Follet's books before and enjoyed them. "The Eye of The Needle" was really good. I found it interesting because the main character is technically the heel, and you find yourself supporting him until the end, when they establish the true babyface. It was a good read, and I believe it's also a movie staring Donald Sutherland.
Well that's about it for this week. I've got to go put my Daughter to bed and watch a movie. I rented General's Daughter. I wanted to catch it at the theater and never got the chance.
See you next week.
