News On Perry Saturn, WWF TV, and Nitro

The WWF is now going to firmly base their television around tag team matches and use them, along with an assortment of other things to develop angles. The WWF feels that tag team matches are where the ratings lie, and can maintain their extremely large fan base by having mostly tag matches. If the tag matches don’t continue to bring the highest ratings then plans will be changed, but as for now, look for mostly tag matches.
The WCW Booking Team centered Monday Night Nitro around the buildup to Souled Out to recover from Starrcade and prevent another low but rate, which is why Nitro had only 5 matches. In the Nitro’s to come, look for more matches.
Perry Saturn has a few spots in his match at Souled Out that he would like to get off, similar to the ones he pulled on Nitro. In the process, Saturn will gain a larger audience supporting him.
