News on Joey Styles with ECW

Dave Scherer reports that Joey Styles will be doing voiceovers for radio and television ads this coming Friday to promote "ECW on TNN". He will be cutting 60 second radio and television spots to promote the weekly ECW show, seen every Friday at 8 p.m. on TNN. This could be big for ECW. With the right advertising, they should at least do a 2.0 rating on TNN.
Some people criticize Joey Styles for the bits that are "scripted" for him on Pay Per Views. That would be nice except for the fact that he and Cyrus don't script anything. Styles does a lot of "office" work before the show, voicing the promos, doing the graphics, etc. before the shows, and doesn't script what he and Cyrus do on camera. The only thing he scripted at the PPV was the segment where the goofs at the ECW website held up signs asking for raises.
