Hello Jerichoholics!
First off, let me wish you all a belated happy new millennium. It was a relief to not have to worry about the overrated Y2K problem, but it just clears the way for the Y2J problem to take control in 2000! I was saddened to hear about the death of Gary Albright. I didn't know Gary very well, but the times that our paths crossed, we always got on very well. It was an unexpected surprise when he started emailing me about six months ago and we kept in touch that way. Gary was a very big star in Japan and a very nice man and may the Lord bless his soul and his family as well. God bless you Volkan Singh!!
I just returned from a great road swing through the Midwest and I was lucky getting out of Detroit this morning, as there was a huge snowstorm there. It always seems that the storms come whenever I'm coming home and never during the tour. Go figure!
Even though the Y2J shirts are still selling like hotcakes, myself and the WWF creative department have just finished designing the NEW Jericho shirt!! I think you cats are going to rock out with this one! It's based around the Jerichoholic concept and it debuts at Madison Square Garden, Jan 23 at the Royal Rumble. Keep an eye out for it!
The movie of the week is the Green Mile. Tom Hanks and Stephen King rule...period. I also just finished reading Hearts in Atlantis, King's newest book and I really enjoyed it.
Speaking of books, check out the autobiography of the Dynamite Kid. Dynamite was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time , as well as a pioneer in the high flying style. His story is very enthralling and you can pick it up at puredynamite.com.
How about the kings of overtime, the Calgary Flames!! Go Flames Go!
Don't forget to check out Metal Edge magazine for my monthly Metal Is Jericho column.
Well God bless you guys and be good to one another!
