Thursday Night Ratings, Update On Blue Meanie, Paul Bearer And Stevie Richards

- Thursday Ratings: The Dec. 16 edition of WWF Smackdown! did a 4.4 rating. WCW Thunder head-to-head drew a 2.3 (quarter hours: 1.9, 1.8, 2.3, 2.4; 2.3, 2.4, 2.4, 2.5)...
- Blue Meanie is not in imminent danger of being released by the WWF, but he won't be brought back to the airwaves until he loses weight. Paul Bearer was also asked to lose weight, and he has lost about 60 pounds thus far. He won't be brought back on TV until after Undertaker reestablished himself on the air.
- Stevie Richards suffered an injury when Jericho threw him too hard out of the ring causing him to land awkwardly on his leg and brake his ankle. Richards is now wearing a boot instead of a cast after having surgery just a few weeks ago. He is slated to return to action around mid-January.
