If you are writing/have written a ZZT-style GCS and want it listed here, or if you want your GCS's listing updated, e-mail Jacob.

After ZZT came MegaZeux, originally created by Greg Janson in 1994. MegaZeux expanded on ZZT in many ways, adding elements such as digital sound and music, palette and character-set redefinition, scrolling boards, and more. However, some prefer ZZT, stating that MegaZeux is too complex and not enough like its predecessor.

ZZT++ is a clone of ZZT created in C++. Because the original sourcecode for ZZT was lost, WeP is recreating it from scratch. The project is not complete as of yet, but great progress has been made, including ZZT world reading and displaying, the ability to move the Player around a board, and a music engine.
